For all the muppets yelling about Jon Scheyer, lets put things into perspective. He is 5 years in as a HC. It took Coach K 16 yrs, Dean Smith 21 yrs, Roy Williams 17 yrs, Dan Hurley 13 yrsas college HCs to win nattys. Pipe down, Scheyer is close and will have one in less time.

@JeffreyZupanic The actual point is that mistakes will be made by first time HCs. The difference is Scheyer's on the job learning is being done at one of the sports biggest brands so hes not "allowed" to make the same mistakes others are.

@Frencheekiss Difference is all those coaches had to BUILD their respective programs at Duke, UNC, Kansas and Connecticut. Roy Williams won it all at UNC in his second year and a second in his sixth year. That’s the best comparison for Scheyer taking over at Duke. Neither had to build programs

This was called pass interference on Clemson after a Duke incompletion on 4th down that would’ve ended the game. Duke was given the first down and went onto beat Clemson in Death Valley for the first time since 1980 😬
