#MCU 1) Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel was quite loved. It's when she became Captain Marvel that she went off the rails. And then got written and acted obnoxiously. 2) She-Hulk in the comics was quite loved with a huge fanbase. Then they turned her into an 'owning the chuds' obnoxious misandrist in live action. 3) Most people loved Sam Wilson as Falcon. He has never worked as Captain America, neither in the comics nor in live action. 4) Peggy Carter is fine. Captain I'm-better-than-Steve-in-every-way Carter is ridiculous. And once again obnoxious. Every ounce of backlash that these characters have received is deserved. Because in every single case, they moved away from the version that worked, and created an obnoxiously bad one. Simple as.
