@JayPosnerSD Maybe things have changed in the last couple years but I thought the umpire union demanded that "close plays" not get replays in the stadium if they aren't challenged. To prevent the crowd from getting pissed if the call was wrong

Now the video board at Petco won’t even show good plays by Padres players. Duran just made a tremendous throw to get a potential base stealer who had a good jump and we got nothing. They must have been busy cuing up the next replay of a grounder. Fans deserve better.

@TrentMLBTheShow Thanks for sharing this. I was actually looking for a positional attribute weighting chart a couple weeks ago for franchise purposes and came up empty. Madden fans have made that info easily accessible for their game so it was crazy that I couldn't find the same for MLBTS

Way too much dooming going on with Padres fans. The Padres were a couple of lucky bounces away from winning that series. They were a normal Fernando away from sweeping that series. we're all frustrated by Tatis, but I'm bullish on the foundation this good start has given them.

@stephenpuetz @OptaSTATS @Padres He plays DH, 1B, and a middling LF. All of these positions end up with low WAR because they're less valuable defensively. Kyle Schwarber has a similar positional profile, it's why he only has 20something WAR over a dozen seasons despite hitting 350 bombs
