If folks don't want to drive drunk, they are free to not do so. Those who DO drive drunk shouldn’t be shamed for it, and govt should not prohibit it. We need to respect each other’s decisions. In SD, we know a little common courtesy can go a long way.

The nerve of people who ask “how are you going to pay for it?” whenever we propose building advanced public education, healthcare, & climate infrastructure yet defend a system where Trump pays $750 in taxes and Amazon pays none is beyond me.

In 2016 & ‘17, I paid thousands of dollars a year in taxes *as a bartender.* Trump paid $750. He contributed less to funding our communities than waitresses & undocumented immigrants. Donald Trump has never cared for our country more than he cares for himself. A walking scam.
