@LaikaOrbital The unborn are human biologically speaking, they are in the same category as born humans. Nothing changes during the process or birth, the baby is the same individual just at a different developmental stage. They deserve rights and protection too, that's the pro-life position.

@MibshaD Ectopic pregnancy is a serious life-threatening medical complication that requires immediate treatment as it will lead to the woman's death. No one is banning life-saving medical procedures.

Just so we're clear: the pregnancy that ends up in the wrong spot, like the fallopian tube? The one that will NEVER turn into a baby and will rupture and kill your wife, daughter, or sister? Terminating that fetus is also an abortion, and they want to ban those, too.

If abortion is "playing God," so is chemo, insulin, and C-sections. Funny how only women's medical choices get called sacrilegious.

@Eccentric871 @bobda @MibshaD Letting die a dying person with consent is not killing; their pathology kills them and they consent to your action of unplugging what's sustaining their life. Disabling someone's pacemaker is intentionally and directly causing them to die of their illness without consent.

@FridgeGames101 @bobda @MibshaD I’m talking about the other person’s comment. The failure of the heart muscle would technically be the reason why this person died, therefore I did not kill them.

@MibshaD Chemo, insulin and C-sections don't kill a human. Playing God means you are choosing who gets to live and who dies, referring to humans, not bacteria or cancer. We care about humans.

I'm not vegan and I can't really pressure people to become vegan until I do myself, but there are really no good arguments that veganism isn't both morally and pragmatically correct.

If we stopped eating meat, we could reduce the land we use for agriculture by 75%. That's 31.3 million sq km, or 12.08 million sq mi. An area larger than all of Africa, or about four of the contiguous US.

@rosebisquits А зачем заботиться обо всех животных одинаково? О фермерных животных заботиться не нужно, только минимальные условия. Заботиться нужно о красной книге и тех кто близок к ней. Это сохраняет биоразнообразие, а не забота о коровах

@ilfrogs9 @obviouslacking Buy the vegan option at restaurants and at the grocery store to start with. When you have the option between not killing an animal and killing it, choose not to. Make incremental changes in your diet, and replace the animal products with vegan products. Transition slowly

@FridgeGames101 @bbumfuzzlee @ItsKingSlime There is nothing hypocritical about having a cat and eating pork. Do you even know what the word hypocrisy means? Those are two completely different species of animals.

@shaivuitton @obviouslacking If more people went vegan, we would be planting less than what we are doing today since most crops go towards feeding animals, which is highly inefficient. Be more specific about the negative impacts, because a lot of the supposed negatives of veganism are often misinformation

@shaivuitton @obviouslacking Yes. 1. Unnecessarily exploiting & slaughtering sentient animals is wrong. 2. Eating plants *DRASTICALLY* reduces animal suffering. 3. Vast majority of meat comes from factory farming, but even "ethical farming" still exploits & slaughters animals needlessly.
