Hell is Forever—So Don’t Play With Sin – Time runs out, eternity doesn’t. One of the greatest lies the devil ever sold to this generation is the idea that sin is a toy, judgment is a myth, death is a doorway into nothing, and hell is either symbolic, temporary, or too harsh for a loving God to allow. That lie has greased the skids for more wrecked lives, ruined homes, seared consciences, and damned souls than most people will ever realize this side of eternity. Men joke about hell because they do not believe the Book. Women flirt with sin because they imagine they can step back whenever they please. Young people treat temptation like a game because the modern church has filled their heads with softness, sentimentality, and shallow slogans instead of the fear of God. But the Bible does not treat hell like a metaphor, and it does not treat sin like a harmless phase. It presents sin as the disease that brought death into the world, judgment as the holy response of a righteous God, and hell as a real place of punishment prepared originally for the devil and his angels, but occupied also by every Christ-rejecting sinner who dies without the Lord Jesus Christ. That is not religious exaggeration. That is divine truth. The age we live in is drunk on the illusion of endless chances. Men think because they got away with something yesterday, they will get away with it tomorrow. They think because judgment has not fallen yet, it will never come. They think because God is merciful, He must also be permissive. They mistake longsuffering for approval. They mistake delay for indifference. They mistake silence from heaven for the cancellation of justice. That is how sinners ruin themselves. They pile up rebellion, excuse compromise, mock warnings, and push conviction away one more time until one day the clock runs out and they discover too late that while earthly time ends, eternal consequences do not. The Bible says, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17). It does not say they will be rehabilitated there. It does not say they will rest there. It does not say they will learn a lesson there and then be released. It says they shall be turned into hell. That is a finality modern religion hates, but it is there in black and white for any man who still fears the Word of God. This message is needed because people have become casual where God has been severe. Sin is treated as self-expression, rebellion as authenticity, lust as freedom, drunkenness as recreation, blasphemy as humor, and moral filth as entertainment. All the while the grave keeps opening, funerals keep happening, and eternity keeps swallowing souls. A man may mock preaching, but he cannot mock death forever. A woman may ignore warnings, but she cannot ignore her own final breath. A church may quit preaching on hell because it thinks the doctrine is unpleasant, but the doctrine does not become false because cowards stopped talking about it. If anything, hell’s reality becomes more urgent when the pulpit grows silent. This essay is not meant to entertain comfortable Christians. It is meant to put steel back into the spine of the warning and urgency back into the soul. Hell is forever, so do not play with sin. Time runs out, eternity does not. 1. Hell Is Not a Figure of Speech The first thing that must be settled is this: hell is a real place. It is not a poetic device to frighten children. It is not a medieval invention. It is not a symbol for emotional regret. It is not a temporary chamber of correction. It is not annihilation. It is not a religious myth created by preachers to control people. The Lord Jesus Christ spoke of hell as a real place of fire, torment, memory, separation, and irreversible loss. Men who claim to honor Christ while denying hell are not honoring Him at all. @oliverburdick 4 reasons i didnt return to a church i had been attending for 6 months or so. Pastor let his wife interrupt every few mins. Pastors wife preached. Pastor stated he was basically obsessed with football amd sports and would talk about that instead of preaching.

Red flags to look for when visiting a church for the first time: - Watered down doctrine - Reading out of a book other than the Bible - Woman pastor - No mention of sin, judgment, or hell - Weird and cliquey

I was pro choice until I found out at 20 years old that I lost a sibling through abortion When it hit that close to home I was faced with feelings I had never had before. What do you mean one of us is missing? Abortion has a far greater impact than just a “personal medical choice between a woman and her doctor”, my brother or sister they were a real person, a real human, they shared the same parents as me, they were part of me, of our entire family. Who knows what kind of wonderful things they would have done? the memories, stories, all of it is just gone, never to be allowed to exist because of one selfish decision. Learning this also made me so confused as to why was I allowed to exist and live? Why did she make the choice to allow me to live and yet did not allow my sibling the same right? Why me and not them? You say you love me but had I come at another time would you have decided to not have me? How can you love someone when you can so easily decide if they live or die? How can you truly love a child if you are willing to live without them, and not only that, be the reason they die?
