And it only gets better from here. Tesla is still on track to launch autonomous ride hailing in Austin in June and roll out to many cities in America by the end of this year. The threshold is achieving safety far in excess of the average human driver. Ultimately, autonomous cars will be >1,000% safer than human-driven cars.

Here’s what’s new: FSD & Enhanced Autopilot (EAP): • No more nag if your hands are on the wheel and you’re focused on the road, thanks to Tesla’s Vision-Based Attention Monitoring using the interior camera. 📷 • Lane changes? Now they initiate immediately with the turn signal—no need to apply steering wheel torque! Basic Autopilot (AP): • Nag is still required, but it’s much lighter and with less force than before.
