Unpopular opinion:
Robotaxi won’t be the BIG income provider for private individuals
According to @fminderop the Tesla of @farzyness will be a commercial robotaxi whenever he wants
But I think, in order to get income from your FSD Tesla, you need to register and list yourself as a (robo)taxi operator and comply with the regulations
It’s not as simple as just putting your car on the ‘network’ and earn money

One of my favorite FSD behaviors:
→ When driving alongside a big truck, FSD will often gently accelerate to pass it and move out of the passing lane right after
It feels protective and safe
As someone who rides motorcycles, I appreciate that instinct to “use your power to get out of trouble”

Autonomy is solved, with Vision only
LiDAR is a crutch
Just imagine if you’d had the vision of this future back in 2016 and decided to factory fit all vehicles produced with the necessary hardware in it
If HW3 will go Unsupervised it’s a different topic but the boldness and the vision @elonmusk had and still has, is worthy of an applause and one big chunk of admiration
Can’t wait to see it with my own eyes in a couple of days!

These are unmodified Tesla cars coming straight from the factory, meaning that every Tesla coming out of our factories is capable of unsupervised self-driving!
