On this Veteran’s Day, we’re celebrating Cindy Snell, who has been at @FriendshipVCS for 24 years. A proud Navy veteran and former Hospital Corpsman, Cindy continues to share her story of service with students each year, showing them what it means to serve your country—and that women can lead and succeed in the armed forces. Thank you, Cindy, for your service and dedication! #VeteransDay

Today, Friendship Elementary had their Career Day event, which included firemen, sheriffs officers, a flight attendant, a small business owner, animal control, health care, Channel 9 reporter, and more. I was honored to be asked by the parent liaison, Jennifer Lebrun, to help fill in when a few people had to cancel last minute. If you would like to help with any of our Career Day events over the next couple of months, please let me know. We’d love to have you!!
