@PassagePress @TJ_Harker Nah,, saw a different video on YouTube where Chauvin put his knee on a kid's back and the kid said he couldn't breathe either. Chauvin's partner told Chauvin to get off and Chauvin refused and said he was fine. He's where he belongs.

Today we are proud to announce the release of American Scapegoat: How a Corrupt Justice System Sacrificed Derek Chauvin to the Mob by former federal prosecutor T.J. Harker (@TJ_Harker). Six years ago today, George Floyd died while in custody of Minneapolis beat cop Derek Chauvin, sparking the most destructive riots in our nation's history and becoming the pretext for an era of mass political hysteria that threatened to rip apart the very fabric of American life. Cities burned. Floyd's body was paraded around in a gold casket. Every institution was made to bend the knee to BLM. Ordinary white Americans, represented by the person of Derek Chauvin, were called to account for three centuries of racial grievance. All most Americans saw of that day was the grainy cellphone footage of Officer Chauvin's knee restraining the back of George Floyd's neck. Few bothered to learn any other details about the case, and by the time the trial rolled around, the verdict was a foregone conclusion. An innocent black man had been killed by a racist white cop, they were told. And for America to atone for its original sins, that racist white cop had to pay the price. What they didn't know was that Chauvin's knee did not prevent Floyd from breathing. They didn't know Chauvin was following procedure by the book. They didn't know Floyd had taken lethal amounts of fentanyl minutes before being restrained. They didn't know Floyd had a pre-existing heart condition. They didn't know the autopsy report had been revised under threat of professional harm. They didn't know the original prosecutor removed herself from the case after seeing all of the evidence. They didn't know the subsequent prosecutors had to abandon their theory of the case just days into the trial. They didn't know the prosecution never established a cause of death, let alone that Derek Chauvin was responsible. In American Scapegoat, author T.J. Harker breaks down what happened on that fateful day six years ago, analyzes the thousands of court documents manipulated and recontextualized to achieve the trial result Minnesota politicians demanded, and relives the trial itself in thorough, painstaking detail to definitively show that Derek Chauvin did not kill George Floyd. Never in modern American history has our justice system been so corrupted by public mass hysteria than in the case of Derek Chauvin. This is the story of that trial. This is the story of how a man was sacrificed to the mob. American Scapegoat is available for pre-order now. Coming Fall '26.

Spencer Pratt is an elite. Fool blew his $10 million fortune on wine, crystals and partying. He’s a proven liar. Said he was living in a trailer when in fact, he staying in a $1500-a-night hotel in one of the richest parts of LA flanked by personal armed security. While it’s terrible that he lost his house in the fire, he didn’t have homeowners insurance and admitted he was house poor. Thinking it’s a terrible idea to put a political novice who cannot manage his own personal finances in charge of a complex city with a $15 billion budget isn’t “sneering elitism” — it is called common sense.
Phineas Fahrquar@irishspy

This kind of sneering elitism is exactly how you get Trump. Or Pratt.

Between Thomas Massie, the Woke Reich, Animal Abusers at NIAID, and Tulsi Gabbard, it’s been a bad week for Loomer doubters and Loomer haters. Idk anyone who has a batting average as good as mine. It’s just a fact. There is a reason why people in the media blacklist me and smear me. In the words of my favorite stable genius, “it’s called professional jealousy Laura.” He told me this in 2023. He’s not wrong. Eventually people should be shamed for what they do to me. There has to be consequences someday.

The biggest bullshit move by DHS in its history. So everyone on a O1 or H1B visa would have to stop working legally in the US, go back to their country and wait for years of backlog? This includes top scientists in our universities, founders of billion dollar companies (at least 3 just in our portfolio would be affected by the way). And if we look at individual countries it becomes even more bs. Indians would have to wait decades. Russians don’t have anywhere to go (there is no US embassy in Russia, hello?). This is the worst imaginable way to disrupt important work for the country and pretend you’re fighting some loophole.
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

LeBron James says if he comes back for year 24 winning is most important on what team he plays for: “Because you want to be excited about going to work everyday. You want to be excited about, you know, like I said earlier, winning the day. And being around a group of guys that, you know, feel the same way and trying not to take steps backwards. You know, understand a season is a long marathon and whatever the case may be. But those building blocks throughout the course of the season is what matters to when you get to the sprint, which is now, you know, the postseason. So, yeah I’m not going anywhere it’s a start over at year 24 or things of that nature.” (Via @mindthegamepod)

LeBron James says the Lakers played to the maximum ability but just got out talented by OKC: “We were not out worked. We were not , you know, they didn’t out physical us. They didn’t outsmart us. I feel like we were just out talented, you know, by OKC. They just possess so much more talent.” (Via @mindthegamepod)
