Fueling a morning routine that most nutritionists now say has no unique biological advantage over eating later in the day. Since the “three meal” structure took hold, obesity in America has tripled and diabetes has doubled. The industry made $58 billion. The public got the hospital bill. They didn’t feed you breakfast. They fed you a belief. And the belief was more profitable than the cereal ever was.
