@Will_Tanner_1 @ThomBrady5 For additional context, Chinese and Indians don’t see cheating as wrong. It’s actually a sign of intelligence to them. It’s like solving puzzle problems on the SAT, except that part of the puzzle involves sneaking in answers without getting caught. It’s literally a virtue to them

Another thing is that honor systems don't survive first contact with non-Japanese Asians and Indians Most formerly venerable American universities operated on the idea that their students were gentlemen who could be trusted not to cheat. This made them exceptional The Chinese don't do that. They just cheat to get ahead. Same with Indians, and like groups, with what rare exceptions there are proving the rule So when you hear about Chinese doing well with university grades compared to whites and us needing to study harder, or whatever...it's because the "Princeton man" used to be a smart but still well-rounded gentleman. That might still kinda be the case with legacies...it's not the case with foreign students, or kids of immigrants who become students, as any professor who has had to deal with Cantonese or Indian students will tell you if they have to be honest. This has decimated the campus culture and traditions of all these schools, and has put whites farther and farther behind So the sort of well-rounded, competent, and honest gentlemen you actually want stewarding the capital of investors by building better companies are screened out. They didn't get "good grades" compared to barely English-speaking Chinese students or Indian strivers, all of whom cheat, and so the CEO will be Vish Chang and he'll engage in some insane scheme and dispossess Americans in favor of illegally hired H-1Bs to boost quarterly earnings and temporarily push up the stock price instead of just running a good company

Microsoft tied bonuses to discrimination against white men. This was well documented. If you didn’t promote white men at Microsoft, you got a larger bonus. None of them will condemn the hatred of white men. They hate us on a deep level.

In acute monoarticular arthritis (swollen/red knee in a CHF patient, likely on diuretics), **septic arthritis is the #1 can't-miss diagnosis** and must be ruled out first. Do urgent arthrocentesis: synovial fluid for cell count/diff, Gram stain, culture, and crystal analysis under polarized light. Don't start empiric gout therapy (colchicine, NSAIDs, or steroids) until infection is excluded—delaying antibiotics or masking symptoms can destroy the joint. Gout or pseudogout is very possible here, but septic comes first.

It’s very interesting to me that Stanford makes about 90 Medical Student a year (not a lot).. and now there will be a new medical school just a few miles away @SantaClaraUniv We have seen this over and over again in the state of California.. when there is a need and no one else steps up, another institution will!

@drterrysimpson How do you explain how these “diverse” less qualified applicants/students have malpractice suits 40% higher than the qualified students when they become doctors. It’s almost like there is a correlation between mcat scores and quality of care.

I disagree with the Department of Justice going after Yale School of Medicine over DEI admissions policies and arguing that objective metrics like GPA and MCAT scores should dominate admissions decisions. The evidence does not support the idea that standardized test scores alone identify the best physicians. The MCAT predicts performance on other multiple-choice exams reasonably well. What MCAT scores do NOT predict are clinical judgment, communication, bedside skill, or physician performance. Put another way: doctors who test well tend to do well on examinations. But test scores do not predict how well they care for patients in clinics, hospitals, surgery, or real-world medicine. Meanwhile, more diverse physician workforces are associated with better preventive care, greater trust, improved access, and lower mortality in underserved communities. There is no objective evidence that excluding minority applicants within a reasonable score range improves patient outcomes. We need minority physicians in this country, and we have the data to prove why. So when people insist that “objective measures” alone should determine admission into medicine — while ignoring the evidence about what actually improves patient care — I increasingly see that argument as less about merit and more about preserving exclusion under the comforting language of statistics. "Equality feels like oppression to those who are privileged"

This story is insane. Chinese-American professor Sean Wang is suing Southern Methodist University over Discrimination & Retaliation from Indian Professors. Indian professors at @SMU classified Dr. Wang as white in HR records to justify denying him a promotion. Dr. Hemang Desai, chair of the Accounting Department, along with other Indian faculty, granted tenure to 100% of Indian candidates, while denying tenure to 100% of non-Indian candidates. Indian faculty were also handed prime offices with nice views, while East Asian and non-Indian faculty were assigned to a lesser offices. This perfectly illustrates East Asians' white-adjacent status, the deep normalization of anti-white discrimination, and parasitic Indian nepotism.

@knowiiiedge It's Neither of them are ready. Why? Because it sounds better. Grammar is fake. Grammar is just a concept. It doesn't exist. Language is defined by how people use it not by how the dictionary tells you to use it. People who use language by following the dictionary drink soy milk.
