@LDmh94 Thick as mince meat some of these. Your lot got English teams banned from Europe but this offends you. The guys a massive dick who looks to be off his head on something by the way, but trying to take the moral high ground doesnt really work.

😂 Hired a German manager because there’s no good English ones, and considerably more English Premier League titles have been won by Scottish managers 😂 Crowned themselves as pre-tournament favourites (as always) 😂 Spent most of their time singing about Scotland and the Tartan Army 😂 Sang World War 2 songs about “German bombers” despite their manager being German 😂 Got into a fight in Dallas 😂 Scraped past a geriatric Croatia 😂 Got insanely jealous that the Tartan Army were getting so much love 😂 As most other countries were showing off their rich culture with songs, bagpipes, kilts etc - the best they could do was get the DJ to put Oasis on the loudspeaker for the most forced celebration ever in an attempt to superficially create a personality outside hooliganism and confrontation 😂 When they arrived in Boston public drinking laws were tightened, despite the city relaxing them for Scotland 😂 Bostonians turned on England fans for singing about the beloved Tartan Army 😂 Pubs started closing early - with two of the main ones “taking the day off” and leaving their doors locked on England match days 😂 Copied the Tartan Army by going to baseball games to try and gain some friends - but were largely ignored 😂 Drew with Ghana and blamed a witch doctor 😂 Beat the mighty Panama and celebrated by throwing pints at each other 😂 Two late goals to scrape past Dr Congo 😂 Made out like beating a bang average Mexico side 3-2 was as good as winning the World Cup 😂 Cheated to scrape past Norway in extra-time 😂 Got absolutely triggered by Scotland fans supporting other teams 😂 Started to act like a clingy and deranged ex: “who are you supporting now?”- “why do you like them more than us” - “here are some reasons why you should like us instead” 😂 Used dead soldiers in an embarrassing and mortifying attempt to guilt trip us into liking them 😂 Conflated a football match with war, and opposing team as enemies - then wondered why nobody wanted them to win 😂 Slapped about on an off the pitch by their fierce rivals Argentina 😂 Mocked relentlessly by Scotland fans 😂 Spat the dummy out about a flag held up by Argentina - and tried to play the “you can’t bring politics into football” card - despite spending the last week talking about the Falklands and before that singing about German bombers 😂 Fighting with each other at home and across the Atlantic 😂 Basically got a bye to the semi-final and still couldn’t get near the trophy 😂 Killed the vibes everywhere they went 😂 Stunk the place out on the pitch and off it 😂 Not a single player from their “best league in the world 🤪” scored for them 😂 It’s coming home? 😂 60 (SIXTY) years of hurt… 😂 Same amount of trophies won as Scotland 😂 Same amount of top ten ranked teams defeated as Scotland 😂 Tails between their legs again 😂 Will all be supporting Spain in the final despite their attempts to mock Scotland for supporting other teams 😂 And they still have to hang around for the humiliation ritual that is the 3rd place playoff Priceless…

England's great World Cup run. Played: Croatia: 11th Ghana: 73rd Panama: 34th DR Congo: 46th Mexico: 14th Norway: 31st Argentina: 1st Croatia result was decent. Mexico game was a great battle of equals. Norway? Pure robbery. England nowhere near an elite team.

Newcastle United are plotting a move for Manchester City’s Omar Marmoush, according to Football Insider! The 27-year-old Egyptian international has found minutes hard to come by at the Etihad Stadium, starting only 16 games across all competitions last season. Despite that dip in form, the club hierarchy is confident he would be a significant upgrade on current options, largely due to his versatility in playing both on the left wing and through the middle. ⚽️💨 Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown has backed the potential transfer, suggesting that a move to Tyneside is exactly what's needed to reignite his career. He highlighted that while Marmoush has fallen down the pecking order at Man City, his pace, strength, and clinical finishing remain top-class. He believes Eddie Howe’s system could provide the perfect environment for the forward to rediscover the electric form he showed during his early days in Manchester.and before 📈🔥 The report says that Newcastle are ready to test City's resolve by offering the one thing the player craves most: regular first-team football. 🏟️👀 MAGPIE METER RATING: 🐦‍⬛ Do you think Omar Marmoush would be a successful signing for the Toon, or is he 'too old' for us at 27? Let me know in the comments below! 👇🏁 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL #ManCity

@Winno08 @jnanavajra @florianederer If someone gets in your home usurping it, you get there and they don’t open the door, would it count if you ask them if they want to give your house back?

I genuinely want to understand the Argentine perspective on the "Las Malvinas son Argentinas." I understand the songs and banners honoring the young conscripts ("los pibes de Malvinas") who were sent by a military dictatorship to die in a tragic and futile war. They deserve to be remembered as victims of that regime. But I struggle to understand why Argentine players would unfurl a banner that says "Las Malvinas son Argentinas." That's an explicit territorial claim over disputed territory. Whatever one's view on the underlying dispute, it is a political statement about sovereignty. Which brings me to FIFA. In 2018, Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri were fined (but not suspended) for making the Albanian double-eagle gesture after scoring against Serbia. FIFA ultimately treated it as unsporting conduct (under the mitigating circumstances of highly discriminatory chants and banners by Serbian fans). Yesterday, we had players displaying a banner reading "Las Malvinas son Argentinas" after a World Cup semifinal. That seems totally straightforward: it is literally a territorial sovereignty claim. The UK has already called on FIFA to investigate under its rules prohibiting political messages at matches. So my question is twofold: First, can Argentine friends help me understand why this slogan has such broad support beyond commemorating the fallen? Second, if FIFA insists that football should be free of politics, isn't an explicit territorial claim much more political than the Kosovo/Albania symbolism that has led to sanctions in the past?

@jnanavajra @florianederer That makes no sense seeing though the Falklands want to stay under British rule. Surely with your theory they should be set "free" and allowed to choose their own path. Which is to be an overseas British Territory.

@florianederer You would understand the support if you grew up in a former colony that had to struggle to free itself, in a region where foreing intervention is still very much a thing.

@Bob_Helpful Its easy a player signs a new contract with that clause in otherwise its not fit for purpose simple. Sounds like this is something Staveley liked to do with Isak and now Bruno though what a legacy that is. Think we're starting to see why these players agreed to join.

@MoeyNUFC Its not being negative to Villa but players probably looking at St James as a better stadium than villa park at present and nothing ive seen shows their training ground being outstanding for me its Emery v Howe and champions league football.

Just my opinion.. If PIF/NUFC built a state of art training ground & stadium with in the timeframe they first promised, club would never be in this situation.
