@farmingbip Support items doesnt do well on graves id say, that and considering their comp, cleanser would have saved you there, that and try to avoid putting yourself in a corner with yamato. If she flings herself into your team shes kind of fucked

@FuglyInfinityp Ven was smth like 13 4 and so was someone else so I built full support debuff and made sure he never died to ven dwifta ect

@CathodeFlowers @GenericEdBoi Case and point, I tried every character in deadlock and I never struggle with yamato late game anymore. Slowing hex/dispell gets rid of grapple and allows me space. Counterspell/spellbreaker invalidates her kit and I just avoid her when her ult is up

@CathodeFlowers @GenericEdBoi If not, counterspell is also a cheaper option, once yamato loses her powerslash, none of the other part of her kit deals actual damage late game. And her ult holds her in place which allows you to just break los and escape.

I see a lot of people saying Yamato 2 doesn’t need charges and while I too feel incredibly frustrated with the ability, let’s try and be reasonable, yeah? Mina has 2-3 blinks, Lash has 1-3 grapples, Dynamo blink, Pocket blink, Haze has 2+ dispels, Wraith teleport, Mirage 2-4 nado

@CathodeFlowers @GenericEdBoi I know most fragile characters hate buying this, but I have to re-iterate that spellbreaker alone is enough for any character in the roster to deal with yamato. Not only that but after the recent updates yamato powerslash actually got scaled down.

@Matty_OW Deadlock is MOBA first shooter second, also, they could have buy atleast 1 or 2 debuff resist and avoided the big cc circle that appears when abrams screams at everyone and ascends to the skies to not get mauled

I’d like someone to explain how aiming and strafing in a deliberate way against an opponent is “uninteractive.” Compared to Abrams pressing 2-3 buttons to completely stun the opponent. How brain-rotted did people get when talking about balance and ability design in shooters?

@GenericEdBoi I don’t care if it feels clunky for Yamato players make it snap like Billy chain. Her phasing through objects shouldn’t be in the final product it looks goofy and feels bad.

@Bhoobtw @GenericEdBoi Remove charges completly. Remove 40 spirit from 2. Remove melee dmg. Nerf 2 spirit ratio. Nerf spirit ratio increase at tier 3 of her 3. Nerf her power slash cooldown by 4s.

@CathodeFlowers @GenericEdBoi also considering yamato spikes she is strong dont get me wrong, but only around mid game , the second people can buy spellbreaker her powerslash becomesweaker and makes her late game very difficult, incombination with her not being able to stick onto people became an issue

@CathodeFlowers @GenericEdBoi Billy has abilities that displaced you and gun items often comes with slow And abrams has 2 different ways of stunning and displacing you Theres only 3 Mystic items that slows people and yamato can on build off 1 of them, that being mystic reverb, without delaying her powerspike

@chillinaltacc @hiSwaps I mean if its a burst spirit character then yeah, it kinda sucks But around 20 minutes I usually have something to help me escape by then, given I dont play carries alot so tak this with a grain of salt, but once you have spellbreaker its over for most spirit burst characters.

This new meta is somehow worse than gun meta games are literally being decided before the end of laning now

@sorocore Hes such a confort slot filler pick, easily countered by good teamwork. Not to downplay how broken shiv is, but theres alot of hard counters to shiv playstyles that im sure high level players can exploit instead of wasting a ban slot

@dodep_na_svo @sorocore Well because some gun items are made for hybrids, like spellslinger, spiritual overflow, spirit rend etc and richochet is jut one of them Also a cancer build is impossible without richochet, so it has its gun centric use

deadlocks melee system was designed for a horde shooter from 2011 not for a multiplayer shooter

@DearSanta3030 @GrubCritter I am biased as a bruisers and tank player, but I genuinely enjoy this patch, most people who are going left to right are getting punished more and I feel like every character has more autonomy over the outcome of the fight. People who dont counterbuy is just malding

@GrubCritter just admit you are macro bot lmao, current patch is amazing, all clueless players are losing more and games are higher in quality

this deadlock patch is genuinely miserable
