@FulltotheBrum

I used to take a lot of photos and write about what I had for dinner. Now I never leave Stirchley. Usually found in the Morrisons cafe.

@meIisactu @bazzdgrogan The general perception, over the last few years, is building owners in Digbeth have been holding on for HS2 because they know prices will go through the roof

@bazzdgrogan It’s crazy how quickly the city Centre dips into decaying or massively underdeveloped parts, the back of the bull ring around the market looks like a left behind former mining town and so many areas are just empty - Digbeth is meant to be prime for redevelopment too!

@Fern_Berry_ @AldiUK I have chicken mince with soy and oyster sauces, rice and veggies for lunch most days. Used to make meatballs with turkey mince but haven’t done that for a while.

If the fridges of @AldiUK are full of party food now, does this mean I might get chicken mince back in the new year? Because this is my third visit / second Aldi and it’s getting critical. #MustNotPanic

@AldiUK Mate, I’ve had to go to Lidl to get some. Please tell the Aldi in Stirchley to get it sorted for next week, I don’t want to have to defect

@ichoosemag Based on how many times I’ve been I’d say Pho but there’s a few I’ve not been to still.

@ReissOmari I like the name, but IIRC it doesn’t have many/any shop fronts on it. A more obvious candidate for being revived is Canon St.

Time for @WestMids_CA to update their crisis PR training, @RichParkerLab this really should’ve been paused…whilst in all for public transport over car use, this is hardly the biggest nightmare associated with German Christmas markets at the moment.

Forget all that ‘bab’ nonsense, the real iconic Birmingham merch is this print of an artwork that @chapmangamo did of Adultworld

@Bozzers You tell me I just walked all the way to Solihull to tick off my nearest Gail's? By comparison there are 37 Greggs within 5 miles of home. Aside - if you register for their app (Gail's and Greggs both) then elements of your first visit will be free.

@DanOffTheRadio Much better suggestion. I can’t get behind anything that is actively avoiding Wham…these people are fools.

@BiteYourBrum It’s like someone forgot to book it in for this year and went with a choice from last year. Like no offence go Mr Krasinski but you’re right either of those two men are far more relevant to 2024.

@Owen_de_Visser We do: B30 isn’t just Stirchley. It includes the McDonalds at Parsons Hill, and the Greggs and Subway up in Cotteridge (and KFC). Somewhere with longer, regular opening hours would be good. I’m not convinced we need two McDonald’s in the one suburban postcode mind.

This is exactly what Stirchley doesn't need. If we don't fight against McDonalds coming, then Greggs, Subway, Costa etc will all be here next. B30 is incredible because we *don't* have any multi-national food chains. It is community driven, exciting, progressive and unique. 1/2
