Changes of speed / rhythm - gaining advantage by controlling “Flow” on and off the ball are tactics to “outwit” your opponent - coaches can ‘Educate their player’s attention’ to these subtle cunning tactics to increase player’s effectiveness & enjoyment for a lifetime 🔥⚽️

Consider keeping perception & action in tact. “…task simplification should not be used to the point where the practice of the movement becomes unrepresentative of how it would be performed under actual performance contexts.” (Philip O’Callaghan) #TOVO

If you have a coach, teacher, parent, teammate or mentor who helps hold you accountable you are blessed. Good leaders do not shy away from confrontation. They live by a set of standards and have high expectations. Embrace those who expect the most of you and you will grow.

Luis Enrique message to the coaches of the academies: ¨Concern about the development, not the results. All children should play in all positions. Prioritize the development of the child, not your own coaching career.¨😍 Follow me for more football videos with English subtitles!

"Your mistakes don't lose you games. Your response to mistakes, lose you games. We don't want reactions; we want responses." In sports and in life, your response-ability is your responsibility. Don't react (that's emotion) to mistakes. Respond (take action) to mistakes.

No one is 'built different', but some have used discipline, effort, & sacrifice to make themselves different. You want to be different: "get up earlier, stay later, ask questions, be a good person, care about others, stay humble, & work harder when no one's around" @LewisCaralla

This is so good and needs to be heard by so many people “We are trying to skip the step of adversity, you can never skip that in life.” Those that didn’t have to grind to reach success have a tough time dealing w/ hardship (Via @MichaelWBratton 🎥)

My goal is that when they leave here, they're able to hold themselves to that standard of excellence and not settle for less than what they're capable of. That lives on forever because wherever they go in life, they can help others get there too. Kara Lawson on standards:

"What are your habits when things get tough? We practice to create habits that will make us successful in the most difficult situations." Make daily deposits in practice of effort, fortitude, & execution. Then, during the game, you're ready to make a 'withdrawal' when it counts.

5 REGRETS Players can Have: ▪️Not putting in the time ▪️Thinking the Grass is Greener elsewhere ▪️Not buying into TEAM ▪️Not accepting their ROLE ▪️Thinking coaches were out to get them Don’t live with regret. Do the work -> Appreciate your team -> Accept your role.

@jeff_paulus @AlbertaSoccer @CanadaSoccerEN We use pass in and dribble in (players choice) for all internal programs. Can’t use it outside as it’s not league rules. I’ve found games are quicker, players always switched on to the opportunity on the restart and just more fun.
