On this day in 1992, Prince releases Sexy MF. Issued as a double A-side with Strollin', radio stations chose to play the more controversial Sexy MF. Smash Hits gave it two out of five dismissing its "grunting and grinding". It reached #4 on the UK Singles Chart.

That was a really good reason to buy all the Prince singles and especially the maxi singles that were released.
