I am devastated to share the news that on Wednesday February 3 our dad Michael Guy died. He passed away at Southport hospital with Mum, his sister Val, daughter Kathryn and myself at his side. 1/

@rob_fisher_efc I get all that, and perhaps it does make sense. But Burden and Odunze will have to make quite significant leaps. This squad is already significantly weaker than it was last year - and the D needs so much work.

@Getintothis Return was diminishing, don't think Johnson likes him that much & big cap space. No surprise to be honest, been muted for a while & plenty of WR in FA & draft. Burden's emergence would have made this decision easier.

Absolutely gutted about this. DJ is by far the Bears' most consistent WR - he's not just elite but one of the most valuable players in the locker room that never misses a game. Durability is everything in the NFL. Big mistake by Chicago. You don't trade players like DJ Moore.

@dabearsblog I do like 'relaxed' Jeff. But a mid-rounder for DJ - our best, most reliable and durable WR is pretty rubbish. There's so many holes on this team now.

I don’t know how much luck the #Bears will have finding a Day 1 starting-caliber left tackle in this draft Mauigoa, Fano, Freeling will all be gone by No. 25. Lomu/Miller maybe. Proctor is a massive risk. Iheanachor is a reach in Round 1 but won’t be there for Chicago in Round 2

Sensational win for #Everton - completely outclassed Newcastle, who were it not for two lucky deflections, we're never in it. Beto, Dewsbury-Hall and the entire defence were outstanding. Pickford's late effort is possibly save of the season. Another outstanding Toffees away win.
