We’re continuing to improve matchmaking in #TarkovArena. With Update 0.5.2.2, we’ve optimized the match connection process, making it faster to get into the game. Matchmaking improvements: ● Match persistence during loading. If a player disconnects while loading into a server, the match will continue for everyone else, and another player may join to fill the vacant slot. ● Join matches already in progress. Players can now join ongoing matches if there are available slots. This feature is only available during the first few minutes of a match. These improvements are already available to test in Last Hero and will be rolled out to additional game modes in future updates. Share your feedback in the comments!

Update 1.1.0.0 in #EscapefromTarkov will introduce a variety of QoL improvements across several game systems. Notable changes will improve the availability of equipment in the early stages of progression. Many entry-level ammo types will become available much earlier. For example, 7.62x39 T-45M1 will be purchasable from Prapor right from the start of the game. The character level requirements for earlier trader LLs will be reduced, and the total trade volume requirement will be removed entirely. The early Hideout development is also being streamlined, with construction times for the initial modules getting reduced. Also, there will be less dependencies on other modules and “Found in Raid” items. As we've previously mentioned, insurance will be unavailable in Kord Breach season, but it will become more convenient in PvP and PvE Zone. Insured items will be returned more quickly, though the cost will increase slightly. In addition, Jaeger will now offer his own insurance service. While significantly more expensive, it will return lost items in just a couple of hours. These changes will make character progression smoother, allowing players to spend more time on active gameplay and pursuing long-term goals.

@ManNukem @nikgeneburn There is no prestiging in seasonal, and if you’re struggling that much to find items for hideout, you’re probably not looking in the right places.

@nikgeneburn I would like to finish the shit that is already in the game. Like finding the impossible items I need to upgrade the intelligence station. At this point the story line is unobtainable. I'm definitely not going to prestige and having to find all this shit again.

@nikgeneburn Please add the ability to transit to Labs so we can do New Beginnings. We simply are unable to finish the quest because there is no transit to Streets on Labs. You could even make it only available after the hangers are open or something, that'd be fine.

@domontovich Real and true. Could you look at doing something for the transit from Labs to Streets so we can prestige. We cannot complete New Beginnings during this event.

this is going to be my personal take, but I've always disliked that you get Kappa when you no longer need it, since you've already done all the quests. Kappa has been the endgame for a long time, back when we had nothing else to serve as one. Now we do, and Kappa should be something achievable for more players, something you can actually keep playing with and actively use, rather than a token of "completing the game".

In addition to the seasonal system, update 1.1.0.0 will include a wide range of other changes. One such change is a task system rework for every game mode. As part of it, the requirements for unlocking the “Collector” task will be revised. Many side tasks will be removed from the list of requirements, leaving only a few, such as "A Shooter Born In Heaven." In exchange, one of the new requirements will be achieving LL4 with all traders and a separate Fence reputation threshold. Obtaining the “Kappa” secure container under the new requirements will grant a new achievement. The unique "Kappa Path" achievement will no longer be obtainable once the first season begins. As a reminder, update 1.1.0.0 is scheduled for release before the end of July.
