@yfblanchet High speed rail for the Quebec/Ontario corridor is approaching the level of believability that the 1976 Montreal Olympics would not lose money. (perhaps I date myself with that statement, but the Montreal Olympic stadium was only finally paid off in the last few years)

Verra-t-on le sasquatch? En 2015, 2019 et 2021, les Libéraux ont bidouillé l'annonce répétée d'un train qu'on n'allait jamais voir, et qui reposait sur une technologie désuète. Je l'avais comparée au sasquatch lors de la campagne de 2021: on en parle beaucoup, mais on le voit jamais... Puis on a créé VIA TGV qui doit en faire dans un délai normal un projet de TGV en effet, technologie contemporaine et porteuse. C'était la demande du @BlocQuebecois et de @renevillemure depuis 2019. Nous saluons donc cette éventuelle annonce si elle représente un progrès. On aura gagné notre point pour la Mauricie et le Québec. Toutefois, il faudra un moment donné cesser de transformer tous les projets en annonces électorales. Ça devient lassant, peu crédible et cynique. @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @Sflecce I think a lot of Ontario drivers would happily pay a little more so they could have a family doctor & fast primary medical care, so they'd know that their kids might not have a cancer diagnosis missed. I know how my 20 year old daughter recovering from stage 4 lymphoma feels.

So when your kid called you & says "I have stage 4 lymphoma?" When it should have been caught sooner? Yes it becomes f***ing political.

Instead, we get beer at corner stores? I'd rather have a doctor.

Ontario's Health Minister says, according to CIHI data, 10% of Ontarians currently don't have access to a family doctor. Premier Doug Ford says it's actually 12%. According to the province's own data that's 1.9 million who don't have a family doctor in Ontario. #onpoli

@NightShiftMD @cbcwhitecoat @LLSCanada Fortunately: My daughter is in remission after stage 4 lymphoma treatment: Caught far too late (not enough family doctors, not enough primary care for young adults, not enough primary care focussed for young women) but Leukemia & Lymphoma hits young Cdns hard. A future story?
