Say you traded a conditional market early and now you’re up big on paper.
That profit is still conditional. if the proposal resolves the other way, those gains can disappear at settlement.
These prediction markets let you sell that exposure into real USDC before resolution instead of just riding it out.
They also work for pure directional bets: buy pUSDC / USDC if pass looks cheap, or fUSDC / USDC if fail looks cheap.
Unlike holding both conditional sides, here you’re taking direct exposure to one outcome.
Clean pass/fail exposure, priced in USDC.

Introducing prediction markets on futard trade
For each proposal, we create @ManifestTrade orderbooks for pUSDC / USDC and fUSDC / USDC.
That gives you a direct market on whether a proposal passes or fails, built on top of @MetaDAOProject conditional tokens.
pUSDC settles to 1 USDC if pass wins. fUSDC settles to 1 USDC if fail wins.
The end result is you get a normal yes/no style prediction market.

i have changed my mind regarding this i am will be bidding the fail market as i dont agree with this prop and do believe capital is better allocated elsewhere why did i change my mind? $RNGR is live, governance markets will come and go and i believe it is important to participate in these markets. sometimes you have to roll up the sleeves and get dirty, governance is and will be an important piece for ranger moving forward. roadmap execution and doing my part in the governance will ultimately how ranger wins. bad governance decision can be costly, so i believe it has importance, maybe not as much as roadmap execution, but it has some i know some people will be upset by this, but the team and i work hard for ranger and will continue to work hard no matter how the prop ends up. i want to know i did everything in my power to help ranger succeed sometimes its going against props, sometimes it will be pushing for at the end of the day, we all want token to perform well, probably none more than the team who dont unlock unless performance package mandates are met remember we are all on the same side, we may differ on how to get there the market will be the ultimate arbiter and i will execute the decisions passed by the token holders godspeed soldiers

What if PASS and FAIL orderbooks looked like an options chain?

AMM problem: you can only trade at the current price. Want to buy lower? You wait, watch, and manually execute when it dips. ( or set up a bot )
Worse with size. large AMM trades = slippage. So you split into many small orders, executing each one manually. ( or set up a bot )
Futard Trade: place a limit order at your price. Walk away. Get filled by other traders directly, or by arb bots when the AMM reaches your level.
