Reminds me when i would always get called to do Dash 8 lavs or help with Dash 8 lavs, because nobody but me could tell if the inner valve was open or shut just but cycling the system. So I almost never had a spill, Except one day, when I finally felt what it was like for the inner valve to fail, and I called it, but someone still flipped it open before i could return with the spill cart.

Looks like someone is about to have a bad day 🤦🏻‍♂️

@periplamodel Depends, crest were used as family marks, unit marks, even market advertisements. Generally they involve high contrasting colors to be more visible, but not always. I would say it is more modern for it to be a unit crest. Any royal special honors would likely be presented boldly.

I think the design is novel, reminds me of one of my favorite aircrafts. But to make some points on design, A short wing span can work with wing mounted engines with enough power. But i would worry about the rolling in its ability to perform a rolling scissors. So I would boom and zoom in it. Though with a turret and twin engines and good visibility with an open cockpit it could be a night fighter.

@ASHI9R Pilots today are so lucky. One of the original night time navigation technologies was to use light houses. But they would get obscured by fog or cloud and pilots easily got lost. we owe a lot to brave pilots who tested new methods to connect us.

In canada we play war games. We know war is suffering and pain. and we enjoy games like that as it gives us a perspective as to what the true cost of war is. War is unpredictable, and horrifying, so it is best avoided. But we have a saying, it is a rhyme. "Do not mistake meekness for weakness" it means to be humble, but not weak.

@sisitake34 not yet, I have watched the original macross, though. I love variable fighters. They are the origin of land air mechs in battletech. Ontario suffers a harsh fate, but only because they were willing to help those in need. A worthy fate.

@ASHI9R The akron was lost because the captain sailed her into a thunder storm. his thinking was because its a war ship it should be able to survive a storm. But the barrometers were faulty in the downdrafts and they ended up flying too low and hitting the ocean.
