@WrathByAnon @Fearless__Truth Most protestant churches encourage a tithe to regular members. Again, rarely a flat 10%. They will ask special voluntary offerings for mission trips, local food pantries, etc They're nothing like the "mega churches" you see on TV. Most of those people are con artists.

A Hungarian Steam fan was pretty mad when his brand-new Steam Controller got mistakenly shipped to the UK instead of his home. After he reached out to support, Valve quickly apologized, explained that the mix-up had hit only a small batch of packages, and rushed to fix the delivery. To make up for the hassle, they let him pick any standard Steam game he wanted. He chose Forza Horizon 6 (worth around 70€) and now he’s a lifelong Valve fan.

Not exactly. SpaceX requires that there be no annoying “portal” to use Starlink. Starlink WiFi must just work effortlessly every time, as though you were at home. Delta wanted to make it painful, difficult and expensive for their customers. Hard to see how that is a winning strategy.

Delta rejected adopting SpaceX's @Starlink on its fleet because it wanted to provide internet connectivity to passengers via the Delta Sync portal, instead of the Starlink-branded portal. Delta has since chosen to partner with Amazon's LEO. This will result in Delta falling behind many of its competitors in offering high-speed WiFi onboard, as many other carriers are already offering or installing Starlink, whereas Amazon's LEO airplane WiFi for Delta is still a couple year away (or more). Satellites currently in orbit: • SpaceX's Starlink: 10,400 • Amazon's LEO: 300 (Delta rejection info according to Ron Baron)

"Pinyin" is the standardized system of latinizing Chinese's highly structured pronunciation and intonation. This lets Chinese speakers type Latin letters to get Chinese glyphs (of which there are tens of thousands). For example, type "xie xie" to get "谢谢" ("thank you") In pinyin, X makes a hard sh sound. (Sh already makes a softer sh sound) Xi's name isn't wrong, you're just underinformed.

Why is not spelled that way then. Why is Chinese romanization deliberately wrong
