My only options for President in my lifetime have been Hilary Clinton, Trump, Biden & Kamala Harris. Yes, it’s depressing. #Politicallyhomeless #ReaganCaucus

Y’all, he knowing got a Nazi SS tattoo, went to work for Blackwater, and wrote about his love for killing people and banging hookers. He was never a good guy. Y’all are getting what you deserve for pushing this guy.

Grim here can’t put together the fact that maybe McDonald quit the campaign for good reasons (Because Platner is a terrible person) and maybe, just maybe, cheating on your newly married wife with 6-12 women in the span of 18 months IS ABUSE!
Ryan Grim@ryangrim

Recall that campaign manager Genevieve McDonald quit the campaign and has been on an anti-Platner rampage ever since. If a married couple is happy together, I really don’t think voters think it’s anybody’s business what they’ve previously been through unless it was abusive.

Democrats really showing they’re no better than MAGA by lining up to defend every story that comes out about Graham Platner.

This is the thing about Platner. He’s brand new to politics (which is what people like about him) but that also carries the risk of being completely unvetted. People will forgive insane things from your 20’s, especially when you apologize and have PTSD. Less so stuff from the last couple of years, because it means that you haven’t actually left the dark stuff behind. And it’s closer to the moment of potential governance. Will be interesting to see if the new revelations shake voters opinions of him. Because the voters in Maine we’ve listened to really did not care about Platner’s sorted past, taking him at his word that he’d grown up into a different person.
Magdi Jacobs@magi_jay

Platner supporters always act like every new story in a string of negative stories is the end of the overall story. With every new revelation, over the course of several months, they're like, "Well that's it!" Maybe a "drip, drip, drip" entails there could be something more?

@jonhhy_cage @LaVeterinarian Platner would’ve voted for the war too if he was a senator then. If he opposed the war, why voluntarily join it?

@LaVeterinarian @GAPomegrante Ask any combat vet why they decided to join. You would get the same answer… and it doesn’t relieve Susan Collins of the fact that she made a poor judgment and has still not voted against the Iran war

Nobody forced you to enlist. Nobody forced you to join the war two years after it started. Nobody sent you. Nobody but yourself. You admitted to in previous comments, including a deranged desire to join because you wanted to kill people. This is such an insane line of attack.
Graham Platner for Senate@grahamformaine

There's nothing more Orwellian than voting to send 18-year-olds to die in another forever war – and then blaming them for it. Real leadership is admitting when you were wrong, not doubling down for decades.

@RareGAIndie @AugustaPatriot The question of the runoff will be do Carr/Raff voters turn out to stop Jones or do they stay home.

I'm sorry but I can't take anybody seriously that thinks Burt Jones has a chance in the runoff, when his only base is rural areas that are going to turn out way less than metro areas.

@dafaceofb0 Platner did when he signed up for the war twice. Kinds proved he would’ve voted for it too if he was a senator then. If you opposed it, why sign up?

@HamptonPrezcott They’ll learn the hard way that people like Paxton still stab them in the back. They’ll just do so while jingling keys and handing you candy to distract you.

The focus amongst the GOP base has shifted firmly from “character” to “will this guy throw me under the bus?.” After decades of electing people with sterling backgrounds but seemingly zero qualms about backstabbing their voters, the GOP base decided to try a different tack.

@realBrandonGill If defeating Talarico was SOOOO important, why did we nominate someone we knew many people would deeply struggle to vote for?

It's funny to mock James Talarico, but his candidacy is no joke. As Senator, he will vote 100% of the time with Chuck Schumer. He will vote for amnesty if it comes to the Senate floor and will work with Democrats to re-open our borders if they take power again. Texas needs to firmly reject him and elect Ken Paxton.

@alt_ccc Talarico is as radical leftist white progressive as you can get. We can oppose and call out moral cretins like Paxton without rehabilitating what someone like Talarico is.

James Talarico is not: 1-A great candidate 2-A radical leftist He’s about as generic, replacement level national Democrat as it possibly gets.
