My only options for President in my lifetime have been Hilary Clinton, Trump, Biden & Kamala Harris. Yes, it’s depressing. #Politicallyhomeless #ReaganCaucus

Recall that campaign manager Genevieve McDonald quit the campaign and has been on an anti-Platner rampage ever since. If a married couple is happy together, I really don’t think voters think it’s anybody’s business what they’ve previously been through unless it was abusive.

People aghast at a character as supposedly despicable as Graham Platner occupying a Senate seat should consider that well into my adulthood, Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd occupied safe Senate seats.

Profoundly fucked up for a disgruntled former campaign staffer to invade the privacy of a woman’s marriage and run to the fucking Wall Street Journal and New York Times to gossip what had been shared with them in confidence. Burn in hell Genevieve.

When Platner beats Collins in November a lot of people are going to forget they spent the close of May tweeting prudish neo-Victorian takes about sex. Just like all the people who expressed shock at blowjobs in 1998.

Platner supporters always act like every new story in a string of negative stories is the end of the overall story. With every new revelation, over the course of several months, they're like, "Well that's it!" Maybe a "drip, drip, drip" entails there could be something more?

The Graham Platner story is landing because it confirms a bunch of his critics’ prior concerns: unvetted, history of poor decision-making, the kind of light misogyny that tends to go along with male bad decision-making. Those are all problems! But it’s worth asking if they’re problems that should be disqualifying for a senate seat and I think the answer to that is no.

There's nothing more Orwellian than voting to send 18-year-olds to die in another forever war – and then blaming them for it. Real leadership is admitting when you were wrong, not doubling down for decades.

Mitt Romney to Harvard Business School graduates: "There's more to a country than its economy. To be a great nation, it must also be a good nation. The world needs good men. It needs good women. Good leaders. Good parents raising good children. There is no national success that could compensate for failure to be a good and noble people."

Slate: The chief of staff to Rep. Mike Collins was in a group chat with Nick Fuentes “Kip Talley, Collins’ current chief, detailed his efforts in a group chat that included prominent white nationalists, including Nick Fuentes and Richard Spencer. Slate has reviewed the chats.” Mike Collins is seeking the Republican nomination for US Senate in Georgia slate.com/news-and-polit…
