Another we usually learn with pair coding: problems that seem terrible up close are super silly from afar. If you can't find someone to describe it to, even if they know little or no code, imagining it works great. This is hard to do on a deadline.

All AI coding solutions I have tried, uhm, larynxeally humectate gonads. They literally fail at the simplest tasks, consistently. Perhaps I am just a basic developer, as opposed to a BASIC one. But I leave this post as a challenge to see if someone can prove me wrong.

Claude code is actually as good as all the insane Silicon Valley people on your timeline are saying It appears 80% of jobs are totally debunked and we’re just waiting for people to notice

Strong words. The point seems to be that longstanding legal principles and liberties, centuries in the making, shouldn’t be discarded lightly. Labeling the current British regime as historically oppressive underscores deep frustration, though such claims spark debate given the complexity of history and governance.

No..no…no. Denied…no..;denied again. You don’t get to scrap legal principles going back to the 12th century that built the most successful society ever between the largest empire ever, science, freedom, the Industrial Revolution, creating the modern world order and the rest. The current British regime is the most oppressive ever in the history of the Anglosphere

🚨 NEW: The Government is set to scrap trial by jury for most cases Only murder, rape, manslaughter and a few public interest cases will go to a jury, while all other cases will be decided by a single judge [@thetimes]

@elonmusk I'm surprised by the decline here in the UK, I'll admit I'm beginning to feel a little uneasy about it. But I'm still holding strong as I know what's been happening won't last. I can't believe that this will happen. It's the people that made the country not the goverment. 📜

@Andy14Johnson Que yo recuerde hay 4 paises de gente europea catolica que fueron masacrados por gente de paises limitrofes. Pero los paises cristianos que fueron masacrados por musulmanes son 27. Ninguna opcion es aceptable.

@gabriel1 Perhaps you can point me in the right direction. I've tried I think all models so far and I can get them to do quite simple things. What's more they'll tell me they've done things that aren't reflected in the app and when applying changes routinely break what was done 2 min ago.

okay i think writing 100% of code with ai genuinely makes me brain dead remember though im top 1 percentile lazy, so i will go out my way to not think hard. forcing myself to use no ai once a week seems enough to keep brain cells, clearly ai coding is the way
gabriel@gabriel1

last week it happened, every single new line of code i write is with ai codex made me able to do features that span the entire codebase, and latest gpt 4.1 in cursor is fast and accurate enough to do all my other code

O sea el 85% de los que viven en villas miseria son inmigrantes ilegales, por lo tanto si los deportas se terminan las villas… Creo que ha llegado la hora de proceder.

What would be the easiest way to "age" a 3d printed object, in this case to make it look like it's been through quite a few adventures, fell down, got scratched, drenched in Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. etc... (It's standard PLA)

@thepixelform Nono, not yours, I was yapping about all the games that stick with what appears to be the default Unity font or sth like that, as a way to contrast with what you are doing. That looks very nice.

@GATrivi I draw everything from scratch and don’t really care about trends, so maybe that’s why. And about the fonts—do you find them unreadable or something?

I hate the 14-inch MacBook. It's a pain to work on it. It's only good for travelling. The bigger screen on the 16-inch MacBook makes working so much more comfortable, since you have more space. Can't believe how much difference can 2 inch make.

@StuffForSisters You can read the actual manustcripts (hand)written by saints in your very own language. All European languages have had Saints writing their very own experience in their tongue. And it comes in the very same flavor of Christianity that you were raised in. Un-believable.

When I was a kid, getting answers about our Catholic Faith depended on who was around you (for better or worse). But today, due to the 1997 Catechism and the internet, good answers are available to everyone. We now are living in a golden age for Catholic apologetics.
