Om vele redenen is het een goede zaak dat de communistische dictator Maduro weg is: drugshandel aanpakken, corruptie bestrijden, democratie herstellen… maar bovenal is het dé kans voor de bevolking zelf om haar verloren vrijheid te heroveren.
Hoe verheugd we ook mogen zijn over het verdwijnen van Maduro, het is echter niet aan de VS om de toekomst van het Venezolaanse volk te bepalen. Dat is en blijft aan de Venezolanen zelf.
De komende dagen zullen duidelijkheid brengen. Ondertussen is de wereld een beetje meer vrij en telt het een dictator minder.

If u actually dive into it, than yeah it isn’t what the ‘left’ narrative - including you - makes it out to be. It’s a complex sum, and prejudice (yes there is prejudice, i am not denying that) only counts for about 5% of the equation; there’s about 20 that contribute to it. For example: men are more likely to move for their job, more likely to work outside, more likely to have a scalable job (STEM fields), they are more likely to work dangerous jobs, etc. So no, men don’t only get payed more ‘just’ because they are men; if people are telling you that, and if you think that, than they, and you, haven’t looked at what the actual unbiased literature says.
