@SDDonovan I don't even have chapters.

I've made the difficult decision to remove titles from every chapter of my new book. They just weren't working and were full of spoilers. Better not to have them! Do you add titles to each chapter?

@worillessg I've been a hardcore reader for 50 years and have probably averaged 80 to 100 books a year.

@SweetNovember48 But that's where the real magic happens. ;) Finished my 3rd read of my recently completed novel Jane Dohe. I love when it gets tight. I'll do one more read before it goes to my beta readers. IMO, if you have to work a story to death, it wasn't much good to begin with.

@GCeciwriter I love the writing the most. The editing and revision is the hardest part for me.

@JayLongWrites No, the exact opposite. My novel Jane Dohe was completed in 52 days. With a set routine, I write every morning.

I have my own domain that I keep active, but I don't have a website. It almost seems pointless with how social media is. I probably should make it but I am SO bad at that stuff that I wouldn't know how to even start. Do you maintain a website?

Writing thought: What do you think of early morning writing, right when you wake up. I've heard it's productive, but haven't tried it

@StevenTBoers63 My partner and I rise between 4 & 5am. Coffee while we hang with the dogs then we go to our offices and write. I impose a minimum word count on myself. Until I at least hit that goal, I don't even think about doing something else. My novel Jane Dohe was written in 52 days.

@SDDonovan I did the same with dashes.

It's gotten so bad that I removed em dashes from my novel, and even stopped using the "3" rule because someone will accuse me of AI. (Aka he moved quietly, with purpose, determined, to find the duck). That's terrible but you get it.😅 It's sad. I shouldn't have to do this.
