Several readers have asked for more info on Dr. Kevin McCairn's process of filtering the blood w dual filtration plasma apheresis (DFPP), plus adding stem cell growth factors (from an established cell line) in patients w long Covid & long vax. There is *NO* donor plasma with DFPP, unlike plasmapheresis. DFPP takes a few hours. The catheter is inserted into the jugular vein; hence its Dracula method moniker. DFPP removes spike protein & amyloid clots in long Covid & long vax. The critical factor for success: multiple treatments all at once. That's why after DFPP comes the infusion of stem cell growth factors to inhibit future amyloid clots & prevent prions, the technical term for the misfolding of proteins. Test-tube studies have shown that stem cell growth factors can inhibit *future* micro clots. Dr. McCairn theorizes that these micro clots may be part of the constellation of symptoms of ME/CFS as well. Prions are associated with many neurological diseases: Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, MS, ALS and CJD (pejoratively known as Mad Cow disease, which can be caused by other things besides tainted beef), to name a few. The chapter Brains on Fire in my book "Shots In The Dark" delves into these diseases and how the spike/amyloid may contribute to developing protein misfolding. And that can lead to the development of neurological diseases, which are often "atypical" and thus difficult to diagnose. When I was researching my book, I asked CDC is there was an increase in CJD. The agency said no. But the discoverer of HIV, Dr. Luc Montagnier, warned that that the Covid vaccine/virus could cause protein misfolding in susceptible individuals. Not surprisingly, Dr. Montagnier was ridiculed for those findings. Getting rid of prions is a good idea, to say the least: According to Jennifer Frazer’s article “Prions Are Forever” in Scientific American, “prions resist digestion by protein-cleaving enzymes, may remain infectious for years when fixed by drying or chemicals, can survive 200°C [392°F] heat for 1-2 hours, and become glued to stainless steel within minutes. Oh, and they’re also resistant to ionizing radiation.” In other words, prions are the stuff of science fiction— except that they’re science fact. Before Covid-19 entered the lexicon, Dr. McCairn modeled the effects of Parkinson's in monkeys, so he's had prior experience with prions. In the video below, circa 5 min in, Dr. McCairn explains the treatment in detail. Nurse Lyndsey & Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, who have spread the word about Dr. McCairn's groundbreaking work, precede him. Nurse Lyndsey is soon to get DFPP from Dr. McCairn. I'm excited for her, and for Robert Benson's miraculous improvement from DFPP (see earlier posts on Robert). This is prima facie evidence that the treatment is working, at least for these patients. Many readers have asked if the dramatic improvement will be permanent. No one knows yet. The fact that it works so quickly--sometimes w/in hours--has been informative. I hope more researchers will join Dr. McCairn so that more people can be helped. Through trial and error, Dr. McCairn has devised a protocol that's working.
