@kimberlya6111@AllieJade1 My dad was at that concert too. He lived in Columbus and since there weren’t cell phones, my grandparents were worried sick until he got home. They had heard the news reports but it was like 2 hours for him to get home with traffic and the drive back to Columbus.
I was actually at that concert, a girl from my town was killed, as soon as you got pushed into the doors, some people were pushed through the glass of closed doors, there were shoes all over from people losing them as they were carried through by the crowd. My feet didn't actually touch the floor until I was in the Coliseum seating area. Alot of us were unaware of what even happened until the concert ended. We didn't have cell phones back then, my Mom was in a panic because it was already being announced on the radio and I assume news channels.
Rock History. A day of tragedy. On December 3, 1979, the English rock band The Who performed at Riverfront Coliseum (now known as Heritage Bank Center) in Cincinnati. 11 concert goers lost their lives that night, as a rush through an inadequately planned opening of the concert venue doors.
I didn't realize that the TV show WKRP in Cincinnati dealt with this incident during one of their episodes. This is the story.
@PenguinSix I was wondering why they had you guys exiting and heading out to the Rose Garden via the Colonnade Door lately. Are they going to put palms back in?
@PenguinSix That’s really neat Andrew. You’ve come a long way. I started following you in early 2021 when you would just film “walks” around DC and talk about history/current events and even live streamed (I believe on Periscope tied to old Twitter).
Drove around for five hours looking for federal police on Friday night and really couldn't find anything. All I could file with the agency was a photo of a US Park Police traffic stop. It's currently page 1 of the Washington Post. Sometimes you just get lucky.
It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.
We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.

@Carriew5437@toys_retro This is the color we had growing up. I think my mom got rid of it when my parents moved out of the house I grew up in a few years ago.
I’m sorry but President Trump must RESIGN!!!😡
What sort of example to young children is he showing by swearing & actually using the word f*ck.
No Christian would do this.
Joe Biden doesn’t swear
Macron doesn’t swear
Zelenskyy doesn’t swear.
America hold your head in shame!
😔
Trump just posted a video with the song “Bomb Iran” in the background. I remember a time when we had leaders like Obama, Biden, and Harris — decent, professional people who acted like real public servants. Now we have a child in the Oval.
@PenguinSix Andrew, you may have to start posting more than 1 video a day as much as you are filming these days. Maybe if you are stuck for hours in the West Wing waiting for the next POTUS event you can edit and put out a video from things filmed at night or early morning. Then another late
