A whirlwind of emotions this morning.
An honour to be nominated by Senator Toni Varone to receive the King Charles lll Coronation Medal in recognition of public service to our country. I am only able to do the work that I do because of the members of LiUNA and their families that we so proudly represent, carrying the legacy of the giants before us who built the foundation of Canada and who continue to move us forward.
I accept this on behalf of you!
A special congratulations to LiUNA Local 506 Business Manager Carmen Principato who was also honoured today for his leadership in community building.

🚨 Big news for the autism community in Vaughan & across🇨🇦!
Today, I joined Minister @markhollandlib to unveil the new Framework for Autism in Canada and Canada’s Autism Strategy to address the complex and diverse needs of Autistic individuals, their families and caregivers.
❗️A National Autism Network will also be created to unite resources. Apply by Nov 25!

Great news from my Lymphoma cancer care team! I am in remission after being enrolled in a Drug Trial for Mosunetuzumab Immunotherapy, after 6 months of treatment. Very good news indeed!
