@licifefe @APA @apa who are the laws you speak of benefiting most? Sadly, your organization has never supported any minority. You change your tone and colors with the wind to suit any party in office rather than take a stand on matters.

@licifefe @APA I can't even pretend to be surprised as the @apa is the lowest of any professional association. What I am surprised by is that folks still throw money into this organization and join as members in light of years of open racism, ableism, and assaults on the LBGTQ community.

Wow, @APA your statement of cowardice to suspend all standards of recruiting diverse students and faculty really makes me sick and ashamed to be associated with you. You are sending a clear message that you align with and enforce white supremacy. Know that you are causing harm.

@ADerron2Remembr @PabloVidalRibas Very familiar! This is a widespread problem now. Unfortunately, the publishers have pushed academia to a point where the Journal review process is gridlocked. In some capacity, they need to be reimbursement for time it takes to review a manuscript or offer some type of comp

I am editor in a journal. The last time a reviewer accepted my invitation to review was June 29. Currently, I have a ms with 22 invitations (I´ve had more), none accepted. Is it just me? Am I the only one reviewing ms for everyone else? (And yes, I came here to complain)

All #schoolpsychology programs need to make their students aware of the eugenics movement, Willowbrook State School, and what it took to pass section 504. These historical pillars should be integrated into students learning, along with some others I am probably missing here.

Although it is #DisabilityPrideMonth , #psychologists and #schoolpsychologists should realize that the Supreme Court ruling legalizing the forced sterilization of people w #disabilities has never been overturned and still stands (Buck v. Bell, 1927). We must do better.
