I disagree with the man who got shot in the neck. I don't think we need to accept that this is a normal thing that happens. I think we need to do things to prevent pointless, senseless violence, especially gun violence; people are getting shot & killed EVERY DAY.

Never looked at this chart before. UMich Consumer Sentiment among ages 18-34 vs overall Consumer Sentiment. When it's green, it means younger people are more optimistic than the the general public. In 30 years, we've never seen this sustained relative gloominess among the young.

The whole thing reads like an essay. Adding a "Yeah!" to "shatter the illusions of integrity" feels like a cry for help.

@EthanAiShaman @SenatorBanks This is the key: Is NPR's coverage biased? No, they're funded and maintained by entrenched capitalist interests and NPR never dares to upset them.
However, conservatives call NPR "liberal" because they dare report the stories of communities outside of the right wing bubble.

@SenatorBanks I understand the concern about bias, but labeling NPR as purely left-wing propaganda might overlook its efforts to provide diverse perspectives. Public funding supports a broad range of voices, which can enhance our democratic discourse rather than limit it.
