@RoseDetectiveX I do agree somewhat. Microtransaction aside, COD never forced me to play it daily or weekly. While gacha game does forced me by manipulation by having free pull reward for login in and doing daily content. I personally hate that. Lol.

@K8Sune People also forget that the model in vtubing is just an eye candy. It needs to follow the market demand. Vtuber watcher generally more on the side of human made art. So by using AI you will lose that audience completely, compared that to just using jpg but still be entertaining.

The issue that isn’t being talked about enough is the increase in costs for electronics (phones, laptops, tablets, etc.) needed for VTubing due to the gen-AI boom. Just because gen-AI is being (cynically) used in this way to “make VTubing more accessible” doesn’t mean it’s cheaper. If anything, this is contributing to the equipment needed to do it becoming more expensive.

@MaroonKennedy I get it if someone just didn't like pokemon but like Palworld. But comparing it is kinda dumb. Palworld is more feels like Ark than Pokemon. Both are not like direct competitor in the genre, playing palworld will not scratch my itch of pokemon type game and vice versa.

Starfield defenders are genuinely a special breed. Saying "Look, Starfield did better than a game that came out 20 years ago!" as though it's a win of some sort. How is that a win? Starfield is the worst selling Bethesda game by all standards. And yes, that includes Oblivion and Fallout 3.

@aquaismissing Its not optimal, but i get their reasoning and not yours. There's needs to be estimated limit. Most people have life outside of CS2. If CS2 said "maximum 1 hours" people will think, okay i will set aside 1 hour of play. Most people play at night as well, they need to sleep.

@Ux7Gok @NeebXNoob I mean, they said competitive FPS slop. So outside of COD and FIFA, Valorant and CS2 exist, for example, as free-to-play. If we compare Gacha as a whole, the worst example would be FGO in the past, you spend 1000$ for a chance of getting the character that you want, never 100%.

@NeebXNoob gacha players can be this but I think ZZZ, Nikke, and Uma at least account for some taste. Nikke especially has a good story (shocking given how horny the game is on a surface level) if it were Genshin, Honkai, Love and Deepspace, etc. I'd have a different opinion

Every expansion in FF11 was a different person and a different story in the same world. Unlike FF14 the WoL never separated from the scions as the WoL in FF11 has. Perhaps this is why the characters in FF11 are more memorable than the scions when they unite in the last add on expansion of Raphsodies of Vana'diel and that became wholesome to reunion to be with them all in one epic and memorable world ending battle. If a new expansion does happen then I would love to have Lion more involved to spark that magic when we 1st met her in The Rise of the Zilart and give more detail of her back story.
