obsession spoilers // like there’s very much a reason the film smash cuts from bear and nikki in the restaurant to bear having sex with her like it’s a jump scare. the text is literally telling you that HE is the monster committing the monstrous act in that scene

SPOILERS… — Obsession yes is filled with grey areas and a complex character in bear. This is a movie that maybe dictated by your own perspectives and trauma. With all that said, it’s very obvious by the dinner scene that he has caught on and he decides to continue.

Thinking about the part in obsession after the “sex” scene where nikki begs bear to relieve her in fear & he quite literally, leaves her like that. He didn’t go & console her, or try to reassure her, he just backs up & leaves and leaves to go see, sarah.
