The media has convinced you that Keir Starmer is the worst Prime Minister in history. They're lying to you.

I walk this street after my shooting lessons in England, and it feels strangely familiar — like something from another time, like home. Even though I’m Australian, I feel a deep connection to this place. An old, 1800s kind of feeling I can’t explain. I later found out my great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Williams, lived nearby in Plymouth, born in Tavistock before leaving for America in the 1890s. She left a sister here. Generations later, I was conceived in the descendants of that sister’s house in Ivybridge, Devon yet born overseas in Europe. And yet, I’m still treated as an outsider with UK immigration kicking me out after 6 month holiday or deported. Not allowed to return for 6 months. Strange how a place can feel like home, but won’t let you stay. But yet this inate deep connection comes out to haunt me politely in various areas around Devon. It is very difficult to ignore. It is so strong and overpowering deep sense of being already rooted in a place. And you feel robbed of that, as one never felt it in Australia.
