@NaoSouONight @snowmistspiders Yeah, the comic show that Vought had their private army that can take out most of them. They have a few more alternatives for the bigger threat, I think they mention Nukes, but it too messy. Black Noir was their surgical solution.

@snowmistspiders Not all Supes are born equal. Some are weak enough to get taken out by conventional weapons. Homelander really was the biggest problem. He was stronger, faster and tougher by multitudes than every other supe. The chasm between number 1 (him) and whoever was number 2 was massive.

@Teslimatttt Fan theory: Vought blackmailed/threatened Becca into seducing him. The experiment was already set up.

Wait, if Homelander is an "asexual weirdo," how do we explain the Becca incident? Is this a major plot hole or am I missing something?

@AbaiGiven84044 It has been dealt with before better in comics that the metal of the plane would have broken because of the mass and the pressure that the superhero put in one area. It why in Superman, they invented the idea that he has a forcefield he can extend to bigger objects he touches.

If Homelander says he can’t lift a plane because there’s “nothing to stand on” in the air… then how does bro stop mid-air and instantly fly again from a complete standstill?

@SimonMcGlynn4 That would make sense, but with writers these days they always want to be original for even the smallest thing even when they already have a good reason already.

Wait, is that the reasoning he gives? I always thought it was cause he's too small and sufficient force from him would just go through the plane Like the point of the scene wasnt that he actively lets people die for fun but that hed sacrifice them for his image as a perfect hero

@PPorcius @PointmanC Yeah, people forget it was like a casting couch thing type of thing. Remember, the Boys was an analogy for celebrity culture.

@Bellion999 @celestialysia0 Joker is a flip of a coin. Could be him doing something silly, or he could be something horrible. On top of that it depends on the version of him.

I still have one question about Homelander. Throughout the whole series, they never really showed him as some lustful womanizer or horny character. There’s barely any scene where he acts pervert or obsessed with women in that way. So why did he assault Becca specifically? It doesn't make any sense
Kantala fc tweet media
Rubicon@KnightOfLag0s

Becca seemed attracted to Homelander and also excited to meet him. What if Becca framed Homelander for sexual assault just to coverup her lust? What if Homelander was right about having consensual sexual encounter with Becca?🤔

@Thor_Odinson Probably to signal to people not to try to cancel him after his death. We have seen the moments someone dies that they will bring up a list of all the bad thing they ever did to try to cancel them.

@nise_yoshimi I have been thinking about this for a while and basically Homelander hurt Vought more than the government or the boys. He took out Vought highest ranking man in the government. Cause all the corrupt heroes to rebel and get destroyed in public. Ruin Vought reputation on top of it.

Something a bit interesting on both a meta and a characterisation level about Homelander being really bad at actually carrying out his own atrocities and getting mad that Butcher doesnt even care

@dweller27380 Not just a liability but also because they started to defy direct orders from Vought. So, they had to be crushed, so other don't get the same idea.

What stuck with me as well as how easily Voughts private mercenary’s were able to easily wipe them out the moment they became a liability to Voughts bottom line. Showing that they have more then enough fire power to keep the Supes in line and don’t do so out of greed and laziness
Pェssmaker@PSSMKR

This panel of the G-Men in The Boys really stuck with me. All these heroes showing absolute loyalty to their evil psycho pedo rapist leader like abused cult members. Gripkey was a coward for not adapting this storyline but he’d prob fuck it up so eh

@WForest1803 @SensibleFascist Why do you think that is? America and the Soviets forced Europe to disarm after WW2. Now Americans want Europeans to become militaristic again. There is no logical consistency when it comes to American leadership on the world stage.

I’ve said this before and I will say it again: European right wingers are not our friends. They may support the same policies as you and say things you agree with, but if you question them they almost all despise America. They can’t accept that their own people have voluntarily chosen to commit mass suicide, so they have rationalized it by creating a warped version of history where the big bad evil America made Europe into essentially a vassal continent of the American empire after WWII, invented wokeness, and forced it down their throat against their will. Its a coping mechanism that has lead them to hate us deep down almost as much as the left does.
OzarkNightOwl@NightowlOzark

If the American empire ends, White replacement stops. In many ways, it's as simple as that. Yockey was right.

@BFD19002956 @chewbaca101 @kirawontmiss If her mated dead, it could be it not eating. It is not uncommon to see this happen with animal mourning. The change in the environment probably means it got to be around other pandas, so it got better.

@SantiagoLoprp @John_Blackie22 In the sequel comic it shows that Flashpoint Superman has a General that saw him as a son before something bad happen to him, and he had Krypto the super dog. So he had moments of kindness in his life.

What do you think soldier boy’s fate would be? Would vought try to weaponise him or nerf him. Or would they find a way to get rid of him forever like the boys did to homelander?

@DunkelMort I think there are even a few times when Lex depowered Superman so show he nothing without his power , then get beaten up by Superman because he is still a tough guy who grew up as a hardworking farm boy.

@YoSoyDavyJones Was it like in one of the latter sequel comics, it was revealed that this version of Superman had one person that was good to and tried to help him. They had a General Sam Lane who saw him as a son. As well as Krypto the super dog.
