It would cost $3 Billion dollars just to purchase the ASIC hardware required to get to 50%. Then you need power/infrastructure/cooling.

Middle Corridor dependence is exactly why the US uranium picture is still fragile. Kazakh and Uzbek supply routes through the Caspian work until Russia decides they don't. Domestic conversion and enrichment are the real chokepoint, not ore. Centrus, ConverDyn, and reactor buildouts should have been funded a decade ago.

BREAKING: After Trump extended the ceasefire, at least two container ships were fired upon by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, according to UKMTO. One vessel northeast of Oman was approached by an IRGC gunboat and hit, suffering heavy bridge damage. A second ship west of Iran was also fired upon and forced to stop, though no damage was reported. Iran is playing Trump like a fiddle.
