@KunjappyHer @nhsbobicb Sorry Alice but this is not factually correct. It is scare mongering and deeply damaging to the practice.

Care navigator doing an assessment on someone who complaining of chest pain, asking questions about symptoms,
diagnosis should be medical not by care navigator, all the client was asking for reassurance, should not be sent away but seen in the surgery. #Safeguarding @nhsbobicb

Great start- really inspiring as to why this should be front and center of NHS policy at all levels.

@KunjappyHer @owen_ystwyth @nhsbobicb @NHSConfed @NHS_BerksWest Aware this is a public platform so I’d need your permission to check. However feel confident that our work force are giving correct advice re diabetes checks and fasting for glucose but not fasting for Hba1c.
English

@owen_ystwyth What does supervising mean, just had a call by a PA who made decisions about the blood test without consulting a GP, especially whether I should be having fasting test with a family of diabetes and being ethnic! #Prediabetic @GPMOT79 @nhsbobicb @NHSConfed @NHS_BerksWest

@ellenfallows @BritSocLM So important to get the message out there to all those with #diabetes so we can empower sufferers with the tools to make changes, feel better and come off medication!
English

Every person newly diagnosed with Type-2 diabetes needs to know that it can be reversed.
Share widely and read Professor Roy Taylor’s book ”Life without Diabetes” where he expands on the concept of Type-2 diabetes as “chronic food poisoning”

Please @Edwina_Currie, shut up!
There are 7.2m million people on waiting lists👇, a problem created by political choices & > decade of underinvestment.
This wasnt caused by doctors (or anyone else) striking, but #PayRestoration will go a long way to sorting it
RT if u agree

Every one of these doctors has patients waiting in pain. Every single one.

@TheDrMagazine @seren_boyd Speaks volumes about what we are missing. Had a 76yr old this morning ‘hasn’t been exposed to DA’ but then proceeded to tell me about having boiling hot saucepans of Food thrown at her etc. If we don’t ask people will not talk about it. Great article- thank you

@sanditoksvig Wow. What are they thinking? Don’t answer that as it is more depressing than the fact this is still a reality.
English

@Saramac7 We are still wearing masks and asking patients to wear them. Provide them for those who are happy to put one on. Not mandatory but have had increasing numbers of staff off with bad COVID and flu despite us being vaccinated.
