As Congress considers solutions, GPSIA has outlined key steps to strengthen US resilience against harmful interference and ensure broader PNT services remain secure, reliable, and available to billions of users worldwide.

At last week’s House Foreign Affairs hearing on Emerging Threats to U.S. Space Security, @CSIS’s Kari Bingen warned about rising GPS interference, noting “prolific jamming” by Russia and China as well as disruptions spreading beyond conflict zones.

Lisa calls for government action to strengthen GPS resilience. Aircraft manufacturers are already upgrading receivers, and with continued national prioritization, systems can integrate signal authentication to further protect GPS integrity.
