Over 10 days, teams mapped sites across Lake Atitlán, the Ixil highlands, and Alta Verapaz. Using Trimble GNSS receivers + drone imaging, they collected elevation models and terrain data that now inform pipeline routing, storage placement, and gravity-fed system design.

GPSIA member @TrimbleCorpNews recently teamed up with Engineers Without Borders USA in Guatemala to support a clean water effort that relied on GPS-enabled mapping tools in some of the country’s steepest, most remote terrain.
