@CovertheCorner I’d want another leverage reliever. And it’s probably too soon, but if Kwan can’t turn it around, that’s a hole you should attempt to start to fill Same w/ Manzo. If he isn’t at least a 115 wRC+ hitter, there isn’t much value there.

Labeling him as a 4 star recruit comes with the idea that he was some premium addition, and he wasn’t. We need depth, happy hes a Mountaineer, but we don’t need people thinking Hodge is an awesome recruiter because of this kid.

@EzekialWiechart @FranmilsEyebrow I think the extension they made Jose sign sealed the deal. They’d only offer a deal that was extremely team-friendly. They’re all about risk aversion and an extension is inherently a gamble unless it’s super team-friendly.

@CovertheCorner Yeah. Don’t want them to get to some arbitrary number. Disappointed at them for not being more creative, aggressive, and not having a greater sense of urgency to improve. Really wanted them to extend or trade Kwan. Wanted to consolidate some of the redundant prospects.

Tbh, since the team signed Hoskins and are giving Kwan steady CF reps, I don't really have huge complaints about the payroll. They needed that RHH bat and a centerfielder and they got it. Let's shock the world with a bottom 2 payroll
