Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

@TiXerobic Oooh, how do you get them to look like they’re in the bowl? When I tried a trick like that with the cake to make it have a printed on design it just erased the cake too :(

i worked at a subway that didn’t have any authority or managers, just a couple minimum wage base level workers. i don’t remember what this particular customer was mad about, but she was arguing with me and didn’t like the answer i gave her. she asked to speak to the manager, and since there wasn’t one, i decided to promote myself on the spot and replied, “manager speaking, how can i help you.” this did not make her very happy. she realized she was not going to get a different answer and asked for a phone number to call. the owner had specifically told us never to give his cell number to customers, so i gave her the store number instead. she gave me a shit-eating grin, clearly thinking about how much trouble she was about to get me in, and then the phone behind me started to ring. i will never forget the look on her face as i answered the phone, stared her dead in the eyes, and said, “thank you for calling subway, how may i help you?”
