@Itswizskins @WigsNBA I’m pretty sure that’s why they went to Utah when before his HS Senior year. Utah allows NIL for HS players when Mass didn’t. I’d bet money that he was a millionaire before he set foot on the BYU campus.

Yall do know he barley lived in Utah right ? Was there what..maybe a year in a half. And now it's his home ? Ppl born and raise in Utah don't want to be drafted by Utah. Yall think this mans wants to all of a sudden spend his entire life there 🤔
Evan Sidery@esidery

The Jazz have already reached out to the Wizards inquiring about a potential trade up from No. 2 to No. 1 for AJ Dybantsa, per @MarcJSpears (andscape.com/features/utah-…). Dybantsa would be able to stay home in Utah, if a pick swap actually occurred.

Treylon Burks is more talented his problem is health. It’s stuff he can do Luke can’t do. I remember posting some stuff when we signed him
MrNiceGuy@KevinLa10376922

@zonerunner331 But Luke is faster, a better route runner, and has only been playing WR for 3.5 years ?

@GRobDMVtoATL At the moment he may have liked the idea but when the bullets start to fly you stick to habits. He didn't fit w what kliff really wanted to do. There was a disconnect w philosophy which is why kliff isnt here anymore.

Kliff Kingsbury has never used a H back or fullback in any of his offenses. Why in the fuck would you draft one in ROUND 2.

@Brian15778212 @greyson09 @SezualC @jsnshep Where and when did you hear anything even somewhat credible that the Wizards were attempting to move up in the 2025 draft to pick Ace Bailey? I think I’m pretty locked in as a Wizards fan when it comes to the drafts and that thought/rumor NEVER surfaced on our end.

@GRobDMVtoATL @greyson09 @SezualC @jsnshep That's quite the assumption that is wrong. You as a WAS fan should know better. You know why WAS was unable to trade up to 4 with CHA last year to draft Ace? Because CHA said they had no clue what Utah was going to do. So they couldn't risk losing Kon at 4.

The Jazz and Wizards are both going to try and out-maneuver each other in the draft. Between the two front offices, I’ll put my money on the Ainge’s track record every single time to do whatever it takes to make the right move. The Jazz will get this right, however it plays out.

@wayuphunt Boozer is NOT a top 8 player in the NBA. Not now and not ever.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a harder time deciding who is the best #1 in any draft before. Genuinely torn 33% on Booz, Aj, Dp. Feels like you can’t go wrong with either, but one of the three feels guaranteed to be a top 8 player in the league. Just which one?

@Brian15778212 @greyson09 @SezualC @jsnshep You have choice but to take whoever the Wizards don’t pick. The Wizards are the only team that has a choice and the Jazz have to live with it. There’s zero reason for smoke and mirrors. You act like these front offices don’t already know one another and how the other thinks WELL

@Brian15778212 @FiredUpCoug The extra part is attempting to go out of your way to convince a team that really isn’t dumb that you’re thinking differently. That’s a lot of smoke and mirrors in order to fool a front office who already has a GREAT idea exactly what you’re thinking before you even try.

@GRobDMVtoATL @FiredUpCoug Isn't an offer you can't refuse anything extra? WAS on the clock. You want Peterson. You can draft Peterson and get only Peterson. OR convince Utah you want AJ, get them to throw in a 2027 FRP and get DP + 1 FRP. Which is better. That's what WAS has to do if they want Peterson.

If I’m Ryan Smith, I’m not paying a premium to move from 2 to 1 for AJ Dybantsa. As much as the Jazz may want him, there's not enough difference between AJ and Peterson to justify trading away talent. Not when there’s a chance he falls to Utah anyway. If Washington wants Darryn Peterson, they’ll call. And if they call, it means they think they can trade down, let Utah take AJ, and still get their guy. If they do call, I'm not making a trade, but I'm feeling more secure about the chance of getting AJ after all. I doubt that Washington would trade lower than number two (maybe 3). There's too much of a talent drop-off.

@JakeLeei Peterson’s ceiling is actually higher. But his floor can also be lower if injuries become a problem. Without injury concerns DP has the higher ceiling. He’s an elite scorer. Healthy he can get “his” offensively better than any other player in this draft or any other draft

@Wiz_Weekly People are dismissing him as a player mainly because of his lack of elite athleticism. He’s not really a big player by NBA standards so athleticism will determine his ceiling more than anything else. His ceiling is pretty high. It’s just not as high as AJ and DP.

AJ and DP are great prospects. I’d be happy to have either of them on the Wizards (especially AJ). But I don’t like how people are just dismissing Boozer out of these discussions. He’s a great player as well and should be in the conversation at number 1 for the Wizards.

@BeGotGame2 75-85% of the players he will be banging with in the paint are just as strong or stronger. The only real difference is that unlike most rookies he won’t be physicallly overmatched from day 1.

Why does it feel like Cam Boozers strength is never bought into consideration when talking about athleticism? Carrying a lean 250 at 19 years old on a 6’8 frame is 100% a form of freak athleticism. It’s heavily understated how strong he is.

@TBZmoneymike301 thinking 1 way or the other. I’ve been around too long to have not seen plenty of players get little to no run until a coaching/team change and then all of sudden everything is different.

@TBZmoneymike301 Wow. I wasn’t aware that anyone was crowning him anything. All I see is “he’s a bust” and “AP is 🫏”for drafting him all over the place on social media. I don’t think I’ve seen a single positive post or comment about him. I personally am waiting to see what happens before

I get your point but if your drafted that high your supposed to be involved in the passing game Thats like drafting Bates in the 2nd round and being happy hes the best blocking TE in the leauge while giving u 10 receptions a yr
On The Fence Podcast@theotfpodcast

DEBATE: I think alot of #Commanders fans are evaluating Ben Sinnott like he’s supposed to be Zach Ertz 2.0 …. when that’s not his role at all. Sinnott is arguably the best move blocker/lead blocking TE on the roster and is integral to the power run game. He’s more of an offensive chess piece/H-back than a volume receiving TE. Kliff barely used true power concepts or 13 personnel last year, so of course fans didn’t “see” much out of him. That doesn’t mean he isn’t valuable. Not every TE’s success is measured by receptions. #RaiseHail

@TBZmoneymike301 And what exactly does that mean? A long ways to go to be a viable option at TE in the NFL? Or a long way to go to being what Blough envisions him being in HIS offense? I really don’t believe Blough is going to use him like a traditional TE as we know it.
