We are incredibly busy right now. Glad to have got a heat pump repair done at 9pm on a rare model. Earlier in the week on another heat pump job the customer said they had 5 or 6 engineers out to it and if I didn’t fix it they were going to rip it out. I fixed it in an hour… 1/2

Early this morning Nicola gave birth to our little boy. Asher Damon Blakemore. We are now complete and there will be no more!! 😂 The girls were over the moon, apart from Ada, as you can see by her face 😂 I am doing fine, as are the mother and child.

Honestly, if the switch to locational pricing is expected to reduce bills for everyone (albeit with slightly mixed impacts, BUT all bills down), it will be a total policy failure if the government allows it to be killed by lobbying.

@Damon_BPHR Rodger that. We did reverse returns to balance it before. It is a little annoying you cant run two cylinders independently.

@GSHPinstaller No mate just exact same distance on the pipes from the tees, same angled bends, same fittings used. It will just flow.

Not completed as the build was behind but all in and flushed and will be back in a couple weeks to lag, fit the high temp pump, commission and seal the room off. Love these Grant units.

Heat pump hive brain, whats the consensus on actual U value of solid stone walls 600-650mm width? Anyone has good experience with retrofits with this kind of construction?

@vitaelectrical @CosyWarmPlumber Is that because they are below the threshold? That depends what age they start as well. We take them on a litte older so they minimum living wage half way through.
