@mario4thenorth White Liberals HATE Conservative P.O.C's since we violate their bigotry of low expectations. Having a sinister combination of white guilt, saviour complex and narcissism. Minorities exist as feed for moral self aggrandizement. Violators are subject to vicious forms of bullying.

NEW: FedEx driver who is accused of abducting and strangling a seven-year-old girl, puts his face in his hand as a photo is displayed of him driving her to her death. 7-year-old Athena Strand was seen standing behind Tanner Horner in his FedEx truck. Athena was allegedly snatched by Horner when he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. Horner initially claimed that he accidentally hit the girl with the truck before "panicking" and pulling her into the vehicle. He said he then strangled her in the vehicle and dumped the body 7 miles from the home. The photo, however, shows that Athena was alert in the truck and did not appear to have been struck by the truck. Wise County District Attorney James Stainton says the jury will see footage on the day of the killing, depicting the moment Athena was strangled to death. "Somebody covered up the camera because they don't want you to see. Guess what? Audio is still running, and you're going to hear it. You're going to hear what a 250-pound man can do to a 67-pound child," he said. "And when I say it's horrible, I mean it. I've been doing this for 25 years, and I promise you, buckle up." Horner qualifies for the death penalty.

@E_R_Sepulveda Fuck you Pencil Neck Commie. It's not just wealthy people using Uber to get to work. I am a working class person that spends $9-$12 per morning to commute by ride to work because the TTC is unreliable, slow and full of drug addicts and homeless vagrants and fare skippers.

Toronto's wealthy are opting out of the TTC, increasingly taking Uber and Lyft—and leaving a fiscal hole in the public system the rest of us depend on. In transportation, we're now seeing the same high-income flight that we've already seen in health and education. The rich exit. The public system suffers fiscally—and, because of the service cuts that follow, politically too. Progressive taxation has always been the answer: tax the private luxury good to fund the public good. New York figured this out in 2018. They capped ride-hailing vehicles and slapped a $2.75/trip levy on every Uber and Lyft ride. That single policy now generates more than $300 million a year—plowed directly into the transit system used by working-class New Yorkers. Toronto has done nothing. No cap. No levy. No accountability. Just 80,000 licensed ride-hailing drivers—more per capita than NYC—circling a city whose transit system still sits at only 82% of pre-pandemic ridership. The math isn't complicated: ride-hailing mostly used by the wealthy is cannibalizing the TTC. A per-trip levy on every ride should fund the public transit those trips displace. My latest in @jacobin in the reply.

@sharkytoronto @ShaziGoalie Actually that isn't true. Prices can still go up even if costs come down. Pro-Tip : You shouldn't act so smarmy and conceited when you actually don't know what you are talking about.

@SebastianBalos @AntonioTweets2 L1 yes? I think that's one of the best ways, it takes luck and some grind to find the right company and opportunity to transfer but yes it can discourage people given the odds, I am sure. Thanks for the advice.

I know a lot of Canadians in the US. And every single one of them has a different story about how they got down. All of them have unique ways/stories. In my case I worked for an international company, Canadian was HQ in Mississauga, and I applied for a transfer to a position in FL. thats my story. I want to make sure people understand that there are multiple ways to do it. I talk to Canadians about this all the time... the biggest issue that I see is that 99% just give up trying...

@GSMohit2 @AntonioTweets2 No, its not amazing... It's just working 40 hours a week in a somewhat regular job but finding a place where work life balance and affordability is completely different... There is nothing amazing to this... its the way the middle class should be...

🚨Phoenix Police Officer-Involved Shooting - May 25, 2025 2500 E. Cactus Road in North Phoenix area. Desert Horizon Precinct - Officer Michael Uglade-Flores #11219 at approximately 2:30 p.m. observed 46-year-old Sam Perone operating a vehicle in violation of Arizona traffic statutes. The officer initiated a lawful traffic stop, and Perone's vehicle came to rest. Before the officer could fully bring his marked patrol unit to a stop, Perone had already exited his vehicle and assumed a confrontational posture. Perone refused to comply. The confrontation transitioned from verbal to physical when Perone struck at the officer's head, initiating a full physical altercation. A bystander in a black T-shirt intervened and attempted to pull Perone away from the officer. Perone was subsequently booked into the Maricopa County Jail on two felony counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer (MCSO Booking #G181664) and held on a $500,000 secured appearance bond. While on the ground prior to arrest, Perone continued to verbally confront officers. Officer Michael Uglade-Flores (Badge #11219), a four-year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department, sustained swelling and abrasions to the nose area and was evaluated at a hospital before being released that same evening….Huge respect for this officer. Blue lives matter. My advice to those who think they are above the law gods: Stay off drugs and or steroids and comply with the law.

NEW: Florida teen arrested and charged with murder after vultures were seen swarming around a suitcase with the body of a s*x offender inside. 28-year-old Colie Lee Daniel was reported missing for about a week. The girlfriend of 19-year-old Lucas Jones says he told her that he "killed somebody and cut him up." She said Jones told her he killed Daniel "because he was a s*x offender ... and he wanted to kill him." The girlfriend says she doesn't know how her boyfriend and Daniel met, but says he "had printed a list of nearby s*x offenders." Jones is currently charged with second-degree murder. He could face the death penalty if the charge is upgraded. Detectives said that Jones "not only had the opportunity but made deliberate acts before, during, and after, which is indicative of his conscious decision to kill [Daniel]." "I wouldn't be shocked, due to its heinous nature, if they have the plethora of evidence that they say that they do, that they don't seek the death penalty just based on the actual heinous nature of it." There are about 22 million taxpayers in Canada. A $90 billion high-speed rail train would cost every single taxpayer $4,000. Just build. And that’s if it doesn’t go over budget. Before operating subsidies. The vast majority of those taxpayers would never set foot on it.

The Conservatives continue to lose the plot but hey what else is new. Why does Pierre Poilievre increasingly sound like Jagmeet Singh. It's a disgrace that a modern G7 country doesn't have high speed rail. And by not building high-speed rail between its major cities isn't being "fiscally responsible," it’s falling behind once again. This is the moment for big, nation-building infrastructure, not timid politics. Thinking small is exactly how Canada got stuck.

@GSMohit2 @pikeypilled I can understand walking as part of survival,In a lot of poor African countries families walk from one city to another as they can hardly afford bus ride.I don't see any case where running is a way of survival unless it is for military or war purpose. @pikeypilled For a normal human , an hour of daily exercise and running combined is enough. Marathon is an ego driven exercise. Lions or tigers run to hunt or walk long distance, imagine a lion running for 100kms just to test his strength and endurance. Impact on knees is severe for runners
