Article 29(1)(d) of what is left of Uganda's Constitution provides that "Every person shall have the freedom to assemble and to demonstrate together with others peacefully and unarmed and to petition." Now, @PoliceUg implores (actually orders) intending protesters to use non-antagonistic approaches to express their dissatisfaction- whatever that means. Also places a blanket ban on protests in towns, claiming that's intended to protect lawful activities- in effect saying a demonstration is not a lawful activity! Illegal, unconstitutional, partisan! #FreeUganda

In Uganda, they express strong worry about ‘our children’ being exposed to ‘bad foreign values’ in schools. Yet they send their own children abroad to study in countries where those ‘bad values’ are legally accepted and promoted in schools! Help me understand the logic

OKELLO ORYEMU STATEMENTS ON KABAKA'S TRAVEL ARE MALICIOUS. Hon Okello Oryemu ,the Foreign Affairs State Minister was unprofessional, malicious & uninformed in his public rhetoric on His Majesty the Kabaka's, stay in Namibia as broadcasted in the media yesterday. Though the Foreign Affairs Ministry & Uganda embassies have a duty to Diplomatically support Ugandans including Traditional leaders wherever they are, they should do so with respect & facts. Available information indicate the Kabaka has never sought extension of stay and is scheduled to travel. I'm aware, Buganda Kingdom has a clear travel arrangement for His Majesty the Kabaka, which is totally different from the hurried diversionaly statements of Okello Oryemu. I have consulted and can confirm as a shadow Minister that His Majesty has a clear travel arrangement coordinated by Buganda Kingdom details of which shall be released by the concerned officials. It is not Okello Oryemu's right to speculate on His Majesty the Kabaka's affairs & indeed his rhetoric only served to portray the Kabaka negatively to which Oryemu must couteously withdraw & apologise for his rushed unverified public rethoric. It is counterproductive for Mathias Mpuuga to resort to personal attacks against Bobi Wine, focusing on his well-documented past. Bobi Wine has openly acknowledged and learned from his mistakes, leveraging them to build a prominent public image. By employing this tactic, Mpuuga inadvertently reinforces Bobi Wine's narrative and appears to be attempting to discredit him rather than addressing the corruption allegations he faces. This approach is reminiscent of the unsuccessful attempts to discredit Dr. Besigye by highlighting his past association with the NRA and President Museveni. Despite these efforts, Dr. Besigye's reputation and popularity endured. Similarly, Mpuuga's strategy may ultimately strengthen Bobi Wine's public standing and just divert attention from the pressing issue of corruption, but discrediting him, no it won’t work. These are just facts, open your history books.

I am profoundly disappointed and dismayed by Honorable Medard Lubega Sseggona’s stance on the allegations of corruption involving Honorable Mpuuga. Medard's reasoning, which suggests that we should not hold Mpuuga accountable because other politicians in government such as (Kadaga, Kigongo and Sekandi) have also engaged in corrupt practices, is deeply troubling. This argument essentially condones corruption and undermines accountability. I had previously held Medard in high esteem, but his stance on this matter has led me to reevaluate my opinion of him. I believe that accountability and transparency are essential values in governance, and we must uphold them across the board, without exceptions or excuses. I have noticed every time Mpuuga is under excessive public backlash, there are 2 media houses that will quickly invite him for a talk show to try and sanitize his image and keep his relevance afloat.

Good evening Mr Kuteesa, I am need of your advice please. I am a father of two boys and i have been married for 5 years. I was a teacher at a sec. School in town before lock down and as you can relate on the tribulations we went through, i decided to venture into self employment such that i can easily fend for my family. It has really been tough to make ends meet, but I try my level best, leave them 20k as 'kameeza' everyday but my wife always complains that it ain't enough, so for that i dont expect supper at home. Recently i gannered some little ka money and started for her a mobile money shop, though its also yet to kickoff well since she has no money to use as float. My issue to cut the story short, on monday this week, she told me very early in the morning before i set off for work that she wanted us to separate, because she is tired of the emoty promises i always make and refuse to fulfill. This has greatly affected my mental stability for the whole of this week. She has a debt at work of 400k, so she gave me an ultimatum upto this week to either loom for the money or let her go, HOW DO I HANDLE SUCH A SITUATION. My advice is simple: 👇🏾 Chase this thief away from your house!!
