@ShiannonC Seems unlikely on the GC. Dutts has been failing ‘tests’ all over but we’ll never hear the end of even a close win from the LNP and MSM as ‘proof’ of a major comeback 😵💫
I personally think Dutton is in trouble in #Fadden
A failed & corrupt Stuart Robert & his links to a corrupt 5-ministries Morrison..
..Robodebt RC findings & a constant barrage of racist dog whistling from an off-the-mark unpopular Dutton…
& then there’s questionable Caldwell
@colonelhogans Look maybe the Libs can club together for a couple of junior board positions to get him out of the house. Somewhere not concerned about reputational risk obviously. Or are paper routes still a thing…?
Morrison does NOT get a pension for being PM.
He was elected after 2004!
He will have access to an office, car and certain amount of flights across Australia per year.
If he could access a pension he’d been gone election night.
He needs the taxpayer salary!
If you look closely, you can actually pinpoint the second Coorey’s heart rips in half, barely able to utter Morrison is “severely damaged” after the Robodebt Royal Commission, only for Laura Tingle to further the blow with, “And he lies about things." Ouch Phil! #insiders#auspol
Phil Coorey concedes on #Insiders that Scott Morrison is “completely compromised” & “severely damaged”
Laura Tingle interjects: “And he lies about things”
Correct 👏👏 #RobodebtRC
@KosSamaras Thanks for acknowledging that empathy and progressive leanings are not the sole preserve of the under 40s. Plenty of folk with late teen/ 20 something kids they want to have more options…
Winners and losers political strategy. It birthed Robodebt.
But it’s a strategy that is now dead.
It was mastered by John Howard. It worked by appealing to those who were winning, whilst encouraging them to resent those who were not.
Immigrants, minorities and the jobless were the main targets. In part it worked because some boomers believed the hype. Their prosperity was entirely due to hard work. Those who were losing “must have been bludgers”.
This is why Morrison and co was so eager on Robodebt. It industrialised the winners and losers approach. Morrison and his generation were given this tool kit by John Howard and the Liberal Party’s pollsters < we know who they are folks - more on this last point in the months to come.
Well, the number of people who now believe they are losing has ballooned and they outnumber the winners.
You can have a Uni degree and be losing. You can work two jobs and be losing. Hard work is no ticket to winning.
Privilege, who you are born to, are now the tickets to winning. Hence the rise in empathy within the voting public, especially empathy to those below you and I.
This in part explains the LNPs problem with Millennials and Gen Z. Even groups of older Australians as well.
The LNP is still trying to appeal to the winners. Wrong group guys!!
History is calling for us to recognise First Australians and ensure Govt gets better advice to start closing the gaps! Unite for #yes🖤💛♥️ #yes23#historyiscalling#auspol
Agree with this Age editorial that Morrison should quit Parliament. In cricket parlance, it’s so obvious that the Robodebt RC has dismissed him that he should walk before the voters get a chance to put their hand up at the next election.
@ABCmediawatch@PRGuy17 Legacy media “used” or a willing accomplice, addicted to daily leaks/‘drops’ from LNP mates?? Includes the CBR gallery in all its ‘glory’…
“It was shameful for the Coalition government, its ministers and their minders. But also, in my view, for many in the media, who were used by the government to run propaganda and discredit victims.”
Our story on Robodebt 'friendly media' from February #MediaWatch
@JonesHowdareyou Who cares what Morrison thinks. Everyone in the world knows he’s a liar.
He needs to be kicked out of our lives & the tap of free flowing taxpayer funds must be turned OFF.

How does a full page ad get published by mistake? To show they're really sorry for publishing racist & sexist tropes, Nine papers should give a full page to the 'Yes' campaign. 'Yes' can then show Advance Australia what an honest, fair campaign looks like.

Dutton's approval rating across Australia is about as low as a fed opposition leader's has ever been.
Dutton is spectacularly unpopular.
I don't understand why elements of the #VoteYes campaign are not exploiting this.
If you vote against the Voice - you support Peter Dutton.
@GSumm1 Indeed but there is a Greens problem in Brisbane proper for Labor. Flip side, with a primary vote that low, I would not say SEQ is solid for Labor like the past election
Queensland is a state like no other.
It's the least urbanised.
One of the least diverse.
Lower levels of Uni degree attainment versus NSW and Vic.
Under 40 year olds vote in greater numbers for the LNP than anywhere else in the country.
Interstate migration will not be helping Labor.
Hence, it will always be more prone to swing away from Labor, if that party is struggling.
On the ABC, in March, we mentioned QLD would be the first to fall.
Labor also has a few long-term challenges in this state. It's not taking in as many skilled migrants v NSW and Vic. It's losing the urban professional vote to the Greens in Brisbane, while losing the less educated, less diverse areas to the LNP.
The preferred Premier rankings are telling.

The fact that a man has to lie to come up with an argument against the Voice tells you a lot about the care and attention to detail that went into drafting it. But it tells you a lot more about the man.
it’s NAIDOC week and i’m sharing the voice of uncle noel butler to support a first nations voice to parliament.
it’s time we listened, and it starts with a voice.
@ulurustatement#UluruStatement#HistoryIsCalling
imagine the morning after the referendum…
we can wake up proud we’ve matured as a country, accepting of our history.
…alternatively we could wake up embarrassed that we succumbed to fear and ignorance, soiling ourselves in front of everyone.
