This may come as a shock to people, but the Bank of Japan is still buying JGBs every day. Now imagine what JGB yields would be without this intervention: they'd be massively higher. We live in an age where central banks are the only thing that stands between us and a debt crisis.

Japan used yesterday's dovish Fed to intervene for the 2nd time this week to boost Yen. That's smart but doesn't change the big picture. If US inflation fails to slow, depreciation pressure on Yen will continue. Only allowing 10-year JGB to rise a lot can protect against that...

Biggest market mispricings at the moment 1. There's always been a 70 bps gap between 5-year 5 years forward breakeven inflation in the US & Euro zone. That's gone. That says markets are way too pessimistic on Euro zone inflation, way too hawkish on ECB & way to bullish on Euro...

@GTAGARRO @expansioncom Cierto, Gabriel, pero siempre he dicho que la presión fiscal no tiene en cuenta la economía sumergida ni el salario medio del español. Por eso, creo que es más realista utilizar el esfuerzo fiscal, que es lo que nos cuesta pagar impuestos a los que pagamos impuestos

Ayer se publicó que España fue el país de la OCDE que lideró la subida de la presión fiscal en 2020. Hoy, la Extractora Mayor del Reino, la Ministra @mjmonteroc, se vanagloria de esa subida y dice que hay margen para subirla más.

Ambos afectan a la empresa y su decisión de generar empleo en un sitio u otro.. De ahí la complacencia de los estados fuertes europeos.Mejor aprender de Irlanda
