I can almost smell the coal smoke in this pic of Seaton Delaval in the 1960s (via FB). It still looked much like this in my 80s childhood: we went to that “fish shop” (as we called it) all the time, and most older women still wore headscarves tied under the chin as illustrated - and were referred to (in the Old English fashion) as a “wife” whether their marital status was known or not.

@bensadler12 disappointed today trying to renew my sons season ticket expecting to pay £205 student rate to be present with a card reader stating £355 has he turns 21 the end of July! advised to call the office in the week to see if this can be resolved… hardly seems fair.

Treated myself to a takeout. Now part way through a box set. No alarm set. Feeling a bit bloated and a lot relaxed.
