People that always want more VARIABILITY when it comes to training are typically hiding from the necessary INTENSITY that comes with progressive overload for basic exercises.

The variability needed is not turning exercises into some dance sequence. Variability with tempo, rep range, total volume, and rest between sets are the key variables to consider.

If your lower body always feels limited or jacked up from your 1 leg workout a week the issues might not be the exercises being done on leg day. It might be whats not being done on the other 6 days a week. PS-thats 5 days if you train lower 2x a week.
