Τα 5* ξενοδοχεία στην 🇨🇾 είναι πονεμένη ιστορία. Τα αστέρια φαίνεται να δίδονται με άξονα τις κτιριακές υποδομές (κυρίως μεγέθη), όχι το επίπεδο και την ποιότητα των υπηρεσιών, την υγιεινή και τη συντήρηση των χώρων. Βασίζονται στο location (blue flag θάλασσες) και την αρπακτή.
